Well, they destroyed people’s vehicles and company vehicles which may not be covered by insurance, putting out business because they no longer have the tools to perform their jobs and now have no way of supporting their families or even driving them to school or the grocery store.
Does insurance cover this?
If so. How long before they are made whole so they can continue their work?
If they lose their jobs because the company cannot perform the work, are they going to receive/qualify for extended and national unemployment benefits and if so, will those benefits cover their monthly exoenses?
Nancy will protect them...
Aflac?
Usually not. Insurance typically does not cover 'Acts of War, whether declared or undeclared.' Or 'acts of civil unrest'..................
Highly unlikely that those whose cars were destroyed will be made whole.
If the car insurance even covers losses in a riot, the payout is the book value of a used car, and as we know a new car looses 30% of value the second it's driven off the dealers lot.
And then the victims have to pay off the car loan in full, unless they have loan insurance. Given the proliferation of 48, 60, and even 72 month loans how much equity do those owners really have? And with unemployment and under employment acquiring even a used car becomes a huge problem.
