Last year, Donald Trump said: ‘I think I’m going to get a Nobel Prize for a lot of things, if they gave it out fairly, which they don’t. ‘They gave it out — well, they gave one to Obama immediately upon his ascent to the presidency, and he had no idea why he got it. And you know what? That was the only thing I agreed with him on.’

They are working on a story to minimize the achievement. Probably they will pick on Trumps claim that it is meaningless since Obama got it for doing nothing.

But still to be nominated can be played as a great honor and an acknowledgement of the successes of this Administration to foster peace in the M.E., something all previous Administrations have sought and failed.

It will make a wonderful campaign commercial for the President.

I respectfully say that you are sorely mistaken. Previous presidents, with the exception of Reagan, merely payed lip service to the idea of peace in the middle east. They don’t want peace there - the military industrial complex will not allow them t, and demands the sacrifice of lives to keep violence going.
