If anyone has any contacts in the Trump campaign, please get them to fix this on their campaign website. Cannot imagine how many people are simply not donating because of this.
I have donated in the past and this is the first time I have encountered this glitch. There does not appear to be any workaround to this either.
I had that issue for a while, I emailed Winred and another site a bunch of times and cleared my cashe. Eventually it stopped.
Scroll down, you have to click on a red check to remove the default setting.
I get a connection is not secure message.
I was able to make a single donation. In order to exit, however, I had to click through about a dozen “level-up” requests.
I uncheck the 2 boxes and then it automatically re-checks the box for weekly giving no matter where I click on the page.
I see what you mean. It makes any amount I try to donate a weekly donation as well, and I don’t see a red check box to undo it.
And I just tried it on my cell phone thinking that would solve the issue but it happens there as well.
There is a box there to uncheck, but once you do it is rechecked once you click anywhere.
I tried to donate a few nights ago. I clicked where it said, “Donate any amount”, but the minimum donation it would accept was $130.00. Whoever is overseeing this donation site needs to pay a little more attention to QA.
I just tried and had no problem.
Clear your cookies and cache and try again.
I just went there. I had no problem making a single donation. I simply unchecked the weekly and the matching donations boxes and donated $20.20. Got an instant email thanking me for my $20.20 donation.
Another suggestion is, if he donation could be made via PayPal as I do not like to give out my credit card number, as I had some bad experiences with it.
I got to the point of putting in my CC# and it still shows “$xx now”
I went back on my credit cards. My 25.00 donation was charged something like 256.00 . Ah. No. I am pissed. Something else to add to my to-do list tomorrow.
I was hoping to avoid that as I will lose all of my passwords.
For a while there I was getting massive amounts of donation
eMails. I may have unsubscribed, but it suddenly stopped.
It was frankly really getting old.
I made a donation to be in a Top 100 category recently.
The next day I got canvassed to join that Top 100 club
I had already joined. LOL I was assured they were still
holding my place. How does that work?
Politicians get people to work for them that are really
annoying. It does with the territory.
Had the same experience. Gave up.
They need to fix this. It’s going to piss a lot of people off, as it can be missed during the checkout process. You uncheck the box and think that is it. Instead, it rechecks the box without your permission.
If everyone can afford to donate $20.20 to John James in Michigan PLEASE do so Trump can use a NEW Senator with all of the Linda’s and Turtles we have there!! John James is a STAR!!!
