BIG difference in N95 masks and what the general public wears. I have learned to kinda like wearing a mask, it is kinda like being invisible!

It's definitely not the same as one of those designer masks. They can definitely hide your identity.

I’m an engineer and do not understand how my mask can protect someone else but their mask won’t protect themselves.

Same here, engineering background takes some of the “magic” and “hocus pocus” out of life. Got contact traced here and specifically asked about duration of “close proximity” which was about 5 to 6 feet.

We both had masks so I asked “So you’re saying masks are useless?”
Got dead air on the phone from the nurse. Didn’t matter as this thing got me and a friend in December 2019. We both have antibodies now. Mask Up for what?

I have threatened to get myself a Halloween mask to wear into stores, it would do just as much good.

I went to an auction yesterday, they said in the ad for it that face coverings must be worn. I did it, because the auctioneer is a friend and I dont want our idiot gubner to shut him down again but were I to wear say a Hulk mask, wouldnt that be a face covering?

Some are desperate and want to do ‘something’. Masks are the perfectly visible statement of doing ‘something’. It’s virtue signalling at it’s best.

I do get a kick out of those who say:
- It’s better than doing nothing.
- Every little bit helps.
