A 9 Hour Wait? Early Voting Is Shattering Previous Levels As Voters Flock To The Polls In Droves
End of America ^ | 10/13/20 | Michael Snyder

Posted on 10/14/2020 8:15:10 AM PDT by Enlightened1

Traditionally, Democrats have been more likely to vote early and they have also been more likely to vote by mail.  This was certainly the case in 2016, but Hillary Clinton lost that election.

So keep that in mind as we discuss the following numbers.

Some states report the party affiliation of voters that return their ballots by mail, and Professor McDonald has been constantly updating that data on his website.  The following are the latest figures that we have for the key swing states of Florida, North Carolina, Iowa and Pennsylvania…

Florida

Democrats 904,217 returned ballots
Republicans 519,876 returned ballots
Minor 20,093 returned ballots
No Party Affiliation 336,398 returned ballots

North Carolina

Democrats 244,890 returned ballots
Republicans 84,419 returned ballots
Minor 1,659 returned ballots
No Party Affiliation 147,188 returned ballots

Iowa

Democrats 150,881 returned ballots
Republicans 63,079 returned ballots
Minor 753 returned ballots
No Party Affiliation 35,554 returned ballots

Pennsylvania

Democrats 338,504 returned ballots
Republicans 64,390 returned ballots
Minor 2,380 returned ballots
No Party Affiliation 32,168 returned ballots

Once again, I want to emphasize the fact that it was always expected that Democrats would vote by mail in far greater numbers than Republicans.

But the fact that Democrats have such a massive lead in returned ballots in the critical swing state of Pennsylvania has got to be causing concern among Republican officials.

The good news for Republicans is that everyone is expecting the GOP to have an overwhelming turnout on Election Day itself.  Throughout this election cycle President Trump has been critical of voting by mail, and so this is going to encourage the vast majority of his hardcore supporters to show up in person to vote.

And when you vote in person, there is much less of a chance that your ballot will end up in a dumpster somewhere.

Looks to me that the DNC is already making the steal.

How stupid to you have to be to wait in line for hours to vote in a state that lets you vote by mail?

How stupid do you have to be to trust the post office where the workers union endorsed one of the candidates

Most GOP does not trust the mail and are going in person. Also not all Democrats are voting for Biden.

This is why I voted by absentee ballot, in spite of advice to vote in person.

In 2006 in my state of Maryland, the incumbent Republican governor and the state party launched a million dollar effort to convince Republicans to vote by mail. They sent out absentee applications to all Rs, I must have received 10 robo-calls begging me to vote early. It worked. Republicans flooded the mailboxes with mail votes, and Democrats got nervous. HOWEVER, REPUBLICANS GOT CRUSHED IN THAT ELECTION. All we did was cannibalize our in-person voting. The same thing is happening to Dems this year. The overwhelming majority of these mail votes are by seniors/older people.

Wow, what a piss poor attitude. It’s not stupid to make sure your vote is counted even if it takes hours.

Pennsylvania early voting

Democrats 338,504 returned ballots-----Republicans 64,390 returned ballots
Minor 2,380 returned ballots---No Party Affiliation 32,168 returned ballots

JOE BIDEN CAUGHT WITH HIS PANTS DOWN----The emailed correspondence between Hunter and the appreciative Burisma
exec flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” (h/t nypost.com)......

Joe, at an Erie, PA campaign stop, was incoherent, as senility "suddenly" took hold.
REALITY CHECK: Joe just got the news about Hunter's incriminating emails w/ Burisma.

That’s some real irony there. All this “early voting” to help people vote and avoid the long lines on Election Day. But you go to vote early and have to wait in line NINE hours?

I don’t think I’ve ever waited in any voting line more than 10 minutes. In my entire life.

We started doing absentee ballots 25 or 30 years ago when we were both traveling a lot for business and we’ve kept it going all this time. I usually fill out the ballot at home and then drop it off at the polling place just to be safe (if I’m in town).

Fully expected actually. Trump has been constantly telling his supporters to vote in person and not trust vote-by-mail.

The Dems have been advocating the exact opposite.

The messages came through loud and clear. I am fully prepared to stand in line on Election Day for however many hours are required.

Very stupid, indeed. That's why I dropped off my absentee ballot to my township hall in person. I even received email confirmation that my ballot was received and verified.

For the life of me I cannot understand what the hell the difference is between voting today or voting in 3 weeks. A vote counts only once and when it is cast cannot make a difference. The Left always votes early and in greater numbers than the Rep’s. If it is more so this year it is because they are scared shit less of the China virus and want nothing to do with going out to vote if they don’t have to go.

Me too.
Early voting in person - Oct 15 - Oct 31.
I can just swing by the library until it looks like the line is short enough that it won’t take hours.

My biggest issue with early voting is that if someone is counting the votes and knowing how many they need to forge.

This is a meaningless statement without data comparison to previous years.

Democrats always have "a massive lead in returned ballots" at this point.
