If you look at who is voting early mail ballots it is the super voters and frequent voters mostly ...Theyre going to vote no matter what what you need to look for are the infrequent voters l, new voters, and less common voters and those dont seem to be up a lot
Is door dash delivering to the voters while standing in line?
Maybe some of the social clubs are grilling burgers and dogs.
We’ll bring it to you while you stand in line. Mustard and
pickles on that?
I have always found lines to be longer on election day. Voting early is usually faster, and the voter has the option to do it on a day that is more convenient than Tuesday. If I vote on election day, I have to go after work. Last time I did that it took well over an hour, maybe two. I am going to try to get it done this weekend.
But you really don’t know how a person voted until you process the ballots do you? Is this just the numbers of ballots received or is this an actual vote count for a candidate?
Waiting 9 hours in line and they are afraid of the virus?
Sunday afternoon used to be a big crowd. Don’t know if it still
is that way. People would go to morning service, dinner on the
ground and then car pool to the voting site.
The headline does not jive with the text.
9 hour waits to vote by mail?
Per this story, five times as many Democrats have voted in Pennsylvania as Republicans. It's fair to say that most of those Democrats are voting for Joe Biden.
This does not bode well for President Trump's re-election. If the numbers in this story are true, President Trump is looking at a massive defeat.
For conservative voters I suggest that if one mails their ballot, they do it early. I mailed by ballot on October 7. I looked at my county’s website and didn’t see my ballot received and accepted until October 14 even though the county recorded receiving the ballot on October 9. So the county waited 5 days after receiving my ballot to change their website to indicate acceptance of my ballot.
Unless, Billy, you follow the democrat model and vote early and often.
Seriously, why wouldn't these people, whose morality is to vote democrat in the tribulations that party is causing the country, seriously worry about breaking the law, especially if they can get away with it? They'll show up on election day and be told they already voted, but will be given a provisional ballot. Then, the democrat party and media will declare that every vote should be counted or it is discrimination, voter suppression and what not.
We live in a town of about 7 K, nearly all white, RECORD shattering first day of early voting. 1.5 hr wait, they started lining up at 7 AM, opened at 8:30 AM.
Because most of us are not voting till election day and be assured we are going to stand on line for hours. Go take your defeatism elsewhere.
Only Biden sign in town says Bided = Socialism. Most yard signs are local and state, some Trump like at my house.
That is making a hopeful assumption that the polling places will be operational. In some metropolitan areas (and suburbs) that may not be the case.
I dropped off my ballot in a county collection box in front of a police station for this reason. (This state has been 100% vote-by-mail for many years)
My ballot has already been accepted, according to the statewide Ballot Tracking system. I am sure it will be counted. All ballots will be counted.
Of course my county has more registered voters than legal residents. I don't have a good estimate for how many ballots will be cast by dead or imaginary voters.
"On the internet, nobody can tell if you are a dog." (Anon)
Four or five really bloody and very spectacular Antifa/BLM terrorist attacks on polling places early in the day will fix that!
Color me very stupid. I am going to work at the polls and vote on Election Day. Takes all kinds.
“How stupid to you have to be to wait in line for hours to vote in a state that lets you vote by mail?”
I’m pretty sure these people, many of whom were dropped of by the busload, DID vote by mail already. This would be ballot #2. It’s been discussed before and a possibility / probability.
I too am worried about Pennsylvania. I read that 1.7 million Democrats and 0.641 million Republicans applied for absentee ballots in Pennsylvania. That is only a 3:1 ratio favoring Democrats. Republicans need to mail in their ballots to get the ratio closer to 3:1.
Yeah and they have surprises that await them.
I haven’t heard yet if I will be a poll worker this election.
