We decided years ago to avoid game playing at the polls. We would use absentee ballots and drop them off at one of 3 places with city workers, and monitors for both parties.

I understand what you are saying but my comment was concerning what some think is an advantage the libs have just because their voters cast their vote a few weeks early.

We do the same. In fact my wife’s absentee ballot didn’t show with mine in. We waited 5 days, and yesterday, my wife
called the headquarters and a new one for her was mailed to her yesterday afternoon.(confirmed by email)
After we drop off our ballots, the next day I will use email to confirm that they got the ballots.
That is their plan, but the indicators may tell a different story. The Democrats scrapped their very good Get Out The Vote scheme in favor of a massive vote by mail operation. The key word is massive. So far, it's not massive, it's good but not good enough. They will get better, but they are unlikely to get enough to offset the low turnouts that will occur for in person voting.
The Republicans have gambled that their voters will show up on Election Day, in person and that the Democrats will not. I think that the Republicans are going to win that bet.

While I haven’t given up hope, anyone who would like to retain the vestiges of America as founded should have a plan “b” in the event this election goes the way the polls indicate.
Nobody can be bothered to go to a Biden event, no way in hell they can be bothered to wait in line for 9 hours to vote for the creep.
Because when you live in a vote by mail state as a Republican you realize how rigged and corrupt the count is.
To avoid having your ballot potentially tossed or screwed with, you do what little you can to make sure your vote is actually counted.
That means, if the state allows you to vote in person you damn well do it.
And if it doesn’t like ours, you drive that ballot to a official drop off and put it in the box or in the hands of an official who puts it straight in the box.
It’s all you can do. But to just drop it in a mailbox makes it too easy to tamper or just throw away blocks of mail from areas known to be Republican.
We STILL don’t win here. The election results are always delayed until enough ballots magically get found to keep the cabal that runs the state in.
Vote by mail lost our state forever. Don’t make the same mistake in yours.

I did see that yesterday. There was a thread on it with all the appropriate Newnan memes. I’m glad people are paying attention. Apparently, his neighbors tipped off the cops, and he’s been throwing the same “garbage” bags for the trash collectors for many weeks for months.
