2020 House Races: It's Not Over. Pelosi's Gavel At Risk As GOP Make Significant Gains

Joe Biden may become the next president, which makes me want to chug bleach, but down-ticket was a different story. Democrats failed miserably to retake the Senate. At the state level, Democrats failed to retake key state legislatures. For the next decade, the GOP remains in control of a lot of the congressional maps. Yet, NBC News said it’s a foregone conclusion. Democrats will keep the House:

Democrats will maintain control of the House of Representatives, NBC News projects, but their path to taking control of the Senate has narrowed significantly as numerous Republican incumbents fended off strong opposition.

Democrats failed to pick up some of the Senate seats they were banking on to capture a majority. Their hopes for a big night were dashed up and down the ballot, as President Donald Trump outperformed his polls against Joe Biden in a race still to be decided.

In Maine, Republican Sen. Susan Collins was declared by NBC News as the apparent winner.

416 House races appear decided Democrats 212 Republicans 204 (+10)

19 Seats remain, GOP lead in 10

To win 218 (and House majority), GOP would need to win all the districts they are leading in, plus: CA-25 GA-07 PA-17 UT-04 — Adrian Gray (@adrian_gray) November 5, 2020

Rs get the benefit of Trump's insane turnout among marginal cultural conservatives deciding to vote plus some traditional Rs who won't vote for Trump but still vote R downballot. https://t.co/FxjXandg5b — Sean T at RCP (@SeanTrende) November 5, 2020

House Races Called As Of Now

Dems 212 GOP 205 (+11) — Political Polls (@PpollingNumbers) November 5, 2020

In fact, the 2020 House race prediction by these polling experts was that Democrats would gain seats. They’re not. In fact, they’ve lost seats and now it may be too early to say that the House will be firmly in Democratic hands. Right now, the Republicans have gained 10 seats. They are on the cusp of retaking the House. There are 19 House races left. In ten, the Republican is leading. If the GOP wins those races, plus, California 25th, Georgia Seventh, Pennsylvania seventeenth, and Utah’s Fourth congressional races—they take the House. In CA 25, Republican Rep. Mike Garcia is trailing. In Georgia 7th, Republican Rich McCormick is also trailing, but these are razor-thin margins, folks. In PA 17, incumbent Conor Lamb, Democrat, declared victory but Republican Sean Parnell isn’t conceding. And in Utah’s 4th congressional race, Republican Burgess Owens has taken the lead against Democratic Rep. Ben McAdams.

Either way, the Democratic majority has been whittled down big league, which means no mandate for the insane action items the far left wants to be enacted.

Oh, and did I mentioned that GOP women have dominated this cycle?

We’ll keep you updated.

I'll part with what Virginia Rep. Abigail Spanberger said in a caucus call today. She appears to win re-election, albeit barely, noting that the defund the police and socialism antics could have torpedoed her bid for a second term. She also said the party is heading for rocky shoals in 2022 if they continue with their 2020 messaging. In fact, she said they'll "get f**king torn apart."

Spanberger on the Dem caucus call: We lost races we shouldn’t have lost. Defund police almost cost me my race bc of an attack ad. Don’t say socialism ever again. Need to get back to basics. (Is yelling.) — Erica Werner (@ericawerner) November 5, 2020

If we run this race again we will get fucking torn apart again in 2022, Spanberger says — Erica Werner (@ericawerner) November 5, 2020

“Republicans in the House should all vote for AOC for Speaker. “
___________________________________________

That’s actually an excellent strategy.

Divide and conquer.

The youngsters will run riot over the oldsters.

The oldsters will want to rip the youngsters new ones......

And the Republicans can STILL VOTE THE HELL OUT OF anything the democrats put forth.

Merciful Maude.

It really would be Divide and Conquer.

Brilliant idea. AOC would embarrass herself and every other Dem.

I am starting to believe it is possible the GOP takes the House. As massive amounts of fraud are uncovered, there are some "lost" GOP seats that may come back into play. The Parnell seat in PA is but one example.

The Dems have been so brazen in their fraud. Just as in the illegal spying on Trump, they did not do a good job of covering their tracks.

Trump and his team will continue to push forward. He knows we have his back!

I said it was over when O’bummer won.

The fact that we’re even talking about the minority party possibly cutting a deal with a faction of the majority party speaks volumes about what is happening here.

We are witnessing a major realignment in U.S. politics. I’ve been saying for months that party affiliation means less today than it ever has in my lifetime. The “moderate” Democrat representing a suburban district in Virginia or New Jersey simply doesn’t belong in the same political party as that radical dingbat AOC. And the GOP is facing the same internal strife — as evidenced by the bucket full of Republican @ssholes who endorsed Joe Biden this year.

Pelosi's Gavel At Risk As GOP Make Significant Gains

What is the opposite of "coattails"?

It seems quite uncommon for the the President to lose, while down-ballot candidates of the same party win in a particular state.

One or two states maybe, but a whole lot of them?

Unlikely.

I am thrilled to be able to tell you this is what I posted on FB on Public and Friends. Heck, I even posted it smack dab on a democratic die hard I’ve known for several years. Didn’t want her to miss seeing the idea, and all. :) Below the line is my complete post on FB.

Just a thought... while I really hope and pray the Republicans take back the House.... if the democrats keep it.....

DIVIDE AND CONQUER

1. Republicans in the House should all vote for AOC for Speaker.
2. The youngsters will run riot over the oldsters.
3. The oldsters will want to rip the youngsters new ones......
4. The Republicans can STILL VOTE THE HELL OUT OF anything the democrats put forth.

Merciful Maude.

IT IS POSSIBLE..... IF THE REPUBLICANS CAN STICK TO THE PLAN.

Fraud probably cost at least 3 Republicans to lose in Virginia. Virginia went Red and fraud stopped all of it.

PA-10 is not a pickup, it’s just a hold for the Republicans. Perry is easily the most conservative member of the PA delegation.

Also the 3 seats in PA (districts 7, 8 & 17) where Republican challengers were leading are all gone now; vote fraud has put all 3 Democrat incumbents over the top. Those seats would have gone a long way towards us being able to say “Speaker of the House, Jim Jordan”, but that’s becoming more and more impossible as things drag out.

They cancelled out 3 or 4 in Virginia as they kept finding votes. They ‘ve been doing that since 2008. I believe Trump won the state too.

More like there are hundreds of thousands of “Biden” ballots - with BLANKS on all the other races below (cause that takes too much time when you are manufacturing votes)...

I was so excited to post your suggestion on FB I did not give you credit for the excellent idea.

Hoping to repay you, someday.

If the Rs are close but don't get to 218, I suggest they reach out (this is not a joke) to AOC&3 and ask them to caucus with the Rs, getting rid of Nancy P. in the process and making McCarthy Speaker.

Let AOC get all her loony lefty legislation introduced. How loony and lefty it is will shock the sheeple to their senses. And it will go nowhere, because Mitch won't even give any of the loony lefty stuff that somehow passes the House the time of day in the Senate.

Wouldn’t it be 220 to 215? 218 majority and 217 minority would be 435 members?

Question
Why are we satisfied with posting inconsequential blurbs on a conservative blog?

When will our side take to the streets and demand justice torching cars and ransacking vote counting stations? In numbers there’s little that can be done to stop it. The left gets away with breaking laws all the time.

Answer: We are sane God fearing folks.

Assume Trump wins. Now go forward to 2022, say, spring, and primary candidates are coming out against those who went along with that.

Can you see the ads?
