Early ballot counting in Georgia will be mandatory ahead of Jan. 5 Senate runoffs

New policy reflects a change from the state's controversial Nov. 3 election process.

Counties in Georgia will be allowed to begin tallying absentee and mail-in ballots prior to the Jan. 5 Senate runoff elections, according to a spokesperson from the Georgia Secretary of State's office. This policy reflects a change from the controversial Nov. 3 election process.

Counties will be permitted to begin their ballot count two weeks ahead of the election, and will be required to start their count by Dec. 30. The goal of the policy is faster election results on Jan. 5. In November, the Georgia vote took days to tally before the state was prepared to announce unofficial results.

Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has stood by the Nov. 3 election process in his state, despite criticism from members of his own party as well as Democrats. However, this time around he is advocating that the state stop allowing no-excuse absentee balloting.

"It makes no sense when we have three weeks of in-person early voting available," said Raffensperger on Dec. 23.

At present, anyone who wants to vote by mail is able to do so by applying for an absentee ballot.

Senate GOP incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are competing in tight races against Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, respectively. Democrats will need to win both seats in order to attain a 50-seat hold on the senate, with Kamala Harris acting as the tie-breaking vote. Republicans just need to win one of the two seats to ensure a slim GOP majority.

I’m sure we will have reps from both sides observing them count, right? Dems will cure and Repubs can watch from behind the curtain.
Can we vote Georgia out of the Union?

Are they violating the law again? When does the law mandate the counting?

Elections... that is funny.

It’s just theater now.

The left wing globalist uniparty, with the legislative and judicial branches, and their mass network and social media in lockstep, will now perpetually appoint our state and federal governmenta, at least until the state government boundaries are 100% subordinate or eliminated.

Probably won’t take long now for some of the GOP-e to learn, whatever deal they made with the anti-American, anti-liberty, global socialist thugs, can only be the useful idiot laughing stock of the left.

At best, we will have a handful of diversionary talking head token’s elected going forward, just to keep the right off balance, until the left wing global socialist have formally eliminated any remaining non-conformist speech, disarmed a majority, and gained absolute control of land, and the food and energy supply chains.

As they will now consolidate dictatorial powers, it will become near impossible for conservatives and liberty loving population to communicate, and to even know what is going on in government, and around us, let alone the rest of the world. They will break whatever means/channels we currently have, as it represents a potential threat.

Our last fire wall of liberty was our ability to choose our government representation, and this is gone now. And the totalitarians did it right in front of us, without any real friction. The left will now solidify and consolidate all of their power structure.

Whoever proclaims the illegality of it all doesn’t understand the anti-American, anti-God, anti-liberty, global socialist have now ascended over any and all previous US law with impunity.

As such, whatever they say and demand of us is the law, with prejudice.

Where necessary, government agency purges will take place, from the top of to the bottom, and including the police.

All who do not conform will be punished or eliminated, and children taken and brainwashed.

It didn’t have to happen, but barring an act of God to the contrary, what is happening now, is the “front end” formal totalitarian take over and subordination of all American society.

This should have happened in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. All the early votes should have been tallied as they came in.

Just a guess, but seems to me that it’s in the interest of the corrupt GA officials and Dim party to keep this runoff election honest, as if they repeat the scam they’ll expose themselves to both elections, whereas if they allow an honest election they’ll say, “see, what happened in Nov was accurate.”

>>Please cite the specific provision of the U.S. Constitution to which you are referring.<<

Article 1 section 4

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

Only state legislatures can enact or alter election law.

There should be strong Republican oversight through all the counting .... ESPECIALLY the early counting.

Is the SOS still deciding stuff that's the purview of the state legislature?

It all hinges on whatever happens on January 6th.

It will either be a day of joy and celebration or a day of infamy to be on par with 9-11 or Pearl Harbor................

The Time, Place and Manner HAS been decided by the Georgia legislature. (Georgia Code § 21-2-501).

They have also delegated authority to the SOS to decide how the ballots are to be counted.

Now is not the time to throw in the towel. There are setbacks in every battle.

Your screen name says “Patriot Fury.” Dig down inside yourself and harness that patriotism and the fury.

It’s time to fight, not time to cower.

"I’ll never vote again. Why bother?"

Because I am still a Constitutional American and it is my civic duty. However, I DO get your point. It may be useless, but at least I will have my say. This is all so depressing, but not surprising as I've watch America slide into socialism for years and now heading into communism.

Plus, down ballot local votes are still important. IIRC, Repubs won some 14? net house seats. The smaller Dem/Soc/Comm majority has put Pelosi in a precarious position. We need just one of the Senate seats in Georgia to maintain a Senate majority. Of course, that's assuming certain turncoats will stick with that majority come legislation issues.

Down ballot votes can also be rigged. Keep an eye on Georgia. I live in NC, but I am from GA. BOTH Republicans should win. If either does not, it’s fraud. My larger point is that IF NOTHING IS DONE (and I don’t see Democrats coming onboard with any Republican bill of voting reform),then, what’s the point? It’s then a one-party, Communist country and the best advice is simply to keep one’s nose clean, head down, and mouth shut . . . at least until they come to haul you off to a re-education camp.

Of course, local elections can be rigged. It happened here in Kalifornia with Bob Dornan years back.

"It’s then a one-party, Communist country and the best advice is simply to keep one’s nose clean, head down, and mouth shut . . . at least until they come to haul you off to a re-education camp."

There would be no re-education camps. That would absolutely be the start of a guerilla shooting war. The PTB would be targeted first through clandestine cells, much like the Swamp Fox revolutionists of the fight against King George when they took out the officers first.

Francis Marion developed a guerilla tactic to hit officers and hide, although it was against all battle norms of the time. His followers caused much damage and chaos to the Redcoats, while the established Colonial Army faced off man to man against the superior British army in battlefields. Rarely worked out well for the Colonists.

That won't happen again. Too many trained Marines, Soldiers, and Spec Ops guys (SEAL's, Delta, etc.) who have been dealing with insurgents in Iraq and Aftganiscrap for years. They will not go toe to toe with National Guard in the streets. The LEO's will just back off and/or go home like they do with the riots.

The above said, I hope such a scenario never happens in my lifetime. There will be no "re-education camps. Too many Patriots in the grass.

Well, why wait? Remember the libs storming the capitol building in Wisconsin? How about a January 6th million man March on Washington that actually storms the capitol and overwhelms the guards to stop the steal? Or is that too much like the country of Georgia, or the Ukraine, or Venezuela?
