Almost 500,000 residents in Wuhan, where the coronavirus pandemic originated, may have been infected with the deadly bug — nearly 10 times the recorded tally, according to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
A study by the agency used a sample of 34,000 people in the central China metropolis of some 1 million residents and other cities in Hubei province, as well as Beijing, Shanghai and several other provinces to estimate the infection rates, CNN reported.

The heroic Chinese citizen journalists were already reporting this 11 months ago.
All of them are either in jail or have disappeared for essentially saying what their CDC is saying now.

At least, that’s what I’m getting from this.
But the authorities also realized that when Covid tests became widely available that the numbers could be easily manipulated to show a “second wave”. I have never before seen or even imagined the manipulation of statistical data about any contagion for political purposes. The real relevance of these numbers is that Covid really is just a run of the mill contagious respiratory ailment.
I have known two people who got very sick with pneumonia in these last few months. One of them died. Before tests were widely available both of them would have been counted as presumptive Covid as my brother-in-law was counted when he died from a cancerous brain tumor last Spring. But neither of the two people who I know who had serious pneumonia tested positive for Covid. Both of them were fanatical mask wearers. They wore them all the time, outdoors, indoors, near others, away from others, exercising or sitting around, even sleeping in some cases. The doctors told the one who is still alive to ditch the mask which she strenuously objected to because it had become some type of psychological crutch. But he said the obsessive mask use had contributed to if not directly caused her to come down with pneumonia and that it was lowering her O2 stats.
Excessive mask use has long been known to put people at increased risk for a number of serious conditions.

I keep reading comments from the covid-deniers that “China didn’t have spikes, and waves, they’re over the virus already and aren’t locked down...” and more, and I keep asking myself one simple question with slight variations : information coming from a country which manipulates its currency value to undermine global markets (since Bill Clinton and Madeline “the butcher of Bosnia” Albright forced most favored nation trading status through the WTO) harvests organs for global trade/sale from its political prisoners who aren’t just slave labor for the likes of Huawei, Apple, Walmart, Amazon, a country which sent rat meat marked as boneless chicken wings, tainted drywall (sick building syndrome), melamine-poisoned dog food, toxic paint on toddler toys and SO much more we began believing when?
China Joe Biden says we got nothing to worry about from China- he finds his sales price met, his servitude in dementia doesn’t bother him at all.
The DNC and many GOP members are clearly compromised by Chinese money, they sent millions of printed ballots to the US to corrupt this last election.
And we started trusting them about a novel virus pandemic when?
Even so. Chinese businesses are not shut down, clubs are open, people are back to eating cats. So let’s quit destroying our children’s future locking down the world

I think after two weeks in most Chinese cities, even Xi Jinping said “Enough is enough - people need to get back to work.” Wonder why the Newsoms and Whitmers didn’t listen to that part? /s
I keep hearing comments from people who have been scared out of their minds by Democrats and the Media that we are facing an unprecedented public health crisis. Those of us who worked and have been working in public health for our entire careers recognize this for what it is... a typical flu season that is being hyped for political reasons. Do you realize that the fake numbers are indicating that the flu has been basically irradiated? And the authorities are trying to claim credit for this?
It is nearly all nonsense. Those who have worked in public health can remember that every time a serious respiratory cantagion is making the rounds that the authorities are always worried that the hospitals will be overwhelmed. Hospital profitability depends largely on the percentage of “beds” that are occupied. So everything is all wine and roses at 90% utilization. But you get to 92% and alarm bells start going off in the minds of public health officials and it is a crisis.
I don't give a rat's ass about what they do in China. They have 1.4 Billion people and in places like Wuhan, they are stacked on top of one another in overcrowded conditions unimaginable to most of us in the United States. Their government does all sorts of the worst atrocities imaginable to their population, yet somehow most of them manage to survive and even with strict controls their population miraculously continues to increase.
What I care about is the extreme nonsense that those who label other people, “Covid Deniers” have been putting all us all through. Did you learn that from your favorite Global Warming website? What a revelation! Those of us who have spent our entire careers as a first responders transporting people with extreme resperatory and share our observations are “Covid Deniers”. You must be a genius!

If you were unable to decipher the meaning of my post and its implications... the years have taken a pretty steep toll on your brain cells. Too much boozing over the years? But thank you for your post war service... and also your service to the community as a physician.
I will try to type slower in my next post to you. People who have adopted global warming scam rhetoric are no longer geniuses... they are scared sheeple who have eaten themselves into a state of obesity where they are very vulnerable to Covid in their later years. So be sure and stay safe from the virus by wearing that dust mask.
