Famed Boston Red Sox pitcher-turned-conservative commentator Curt Schilling said Tuesday that American International Group (AIG) had cancelled his insurance plan due to his "social media profile."
"We will be just fine, but wanted to let Americans know that @AIGinsurance canceled our insurance due to my 'Social Media profile,'" Schilling said on Twitter.
Schilling shared a screenshot purportedly showing an AIG employee telling him that while they appreciate that he's been a "long time AIG client since 2004" "it was a management decision that was made collectively between underwriting and marketing teams that could not be overturned."

Yep, I could see if someone flies a MAGA flag outside their house, the insurance company could cancel the policy, because they deem it a risk of getting torched.
Your social credit score is out of compliance with China, Comrade
Guess what Dorothy, we’re not in America anymore.
Buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy, ‘cause Kansas is going bye-bye.
🎶Turning Chinese, I think we’re turning Chinese, I really think so🎶
It’s already too late for most of us, rarestia. Big Tech already knows nearly everything about most Americans. Once it’s out there, that information never goes away.
And when they deem you a threat, they will pull it out. This is exactly what life in East Germany was like.
bttt
You are correct, it doesn’t protect it in private settings.
BUT...
one can argue Social Media is no longer a private setting.
Just chew on that idea for a little while. Facebook, Twitter, et al were open media platforms, open content platforms. Nothing illegal like porn or organizing violence, but people are getting banned and dropped or even fired.
Lawyer up and make them prove one violated the terms of service. Demand they show where one was organizing insurrection or violence. Class Action Lawsuit it if we can. Booting people off for disagreeing or questioning the narrative is not acceptable under the terms of service.
This will be an interesting thing to watch.
AIG is no longer in the American Sector
To all who think you can escape review by social scorers. They don’t need your personal info. They can run social, media, voting, purchasing, employment, family, and all other demographics down to the zip code and even census block level. It will easily be 90% plus accurate to your personal profile. A few extra keystrokes just to obtain some readily available public info on you and you are targeted. Doesn’t matter if you ever used any electronics of any type in your life.
You can’t run and you can’t hide. Don’t be living in delusions.
AIG is underwriters for all types of insurance. This is a big deal because I am pretty sure they are biggest underwriters in this country.
I don’t see how this is legal.
Yes, we have worked with them in the past in Life Insurance and Annuity products. I just wondered what type of insurance they cancelled or declined for Schilling.
I’m so glad I’ve shunned social media.
Here comes the social credit score Alex Jones has been talking about for years.
No attorney will take the case.
WHAT “White Privilege”?????!!!!!
