House vote on Brandon's economy-killing social spending bill expected shortly.

Oh for heaven sakes, give the man credit where credit is due. He’s ruining all the Dems’ plans for the night, denying them their prime time victory, lousing up their travel plans, keeping them up late (old Nancy must be exceedingly pooped about now at her age).
There is no way the Pubs can stop the Dems if they maintain their voting unity, and they will, as Pubs are in the minority in both Houses and in the WH. This is probably the only way to fight back at this moment in time. Face it folks, we don’t have the votes and you know it, so McCarthy is doing the one thing he can do to slow the process down to a crawl, and that is to filibuster, and he’s doing a great job at it. Voice still strong. He’s making sense still after all these hours.
What would you do, your armchair critics, start a new Civil War on the House floor? (It may come to that one day). I for one love what he is doing. This will be the headline tomorrow, rather than Nancy’s last great hurrah in office, as she is retiring. Her crowning moment has dissolved into a political disaster leaving mud on her Botoxed face. Couldn’t happen to a better tyrannical authoritarian (see the masked ducks in a row sitting behind McCarthy as she has mandated by House rule that members must wear them or incur heavy per day fines).
Your days are numbered Nancy, and may you rot in hell. I want you to get your just desserts one day, preferably by rotting in the same jail cell as the January 6th demonstrators your evil cohorts have incarcerated them in. You will go down in infamy in the annals of history, you harridan.

Where was McCarthy when there were 13 traitors that supported that BS infrastructure bill? He was MIA and he’s now trying to win back the base if and when the GOP wins control of the House in ‘22.
I don’t know what will happen when this goes to the Senate. Maybe it will fail. We are dependent on two moderate Dems. God help us.
And if it passes the Senate and becomes law you can bet if the GOP takes control they don’t have the balls to roll it back.

You tell me how he could have stopped them, smarty pants. Alienate them by depriving them of something so that they wouldn’t stick with the rest of the Pubs when the second bill the Dems are voting on (tomorrow, Friday as tonite McCarthy is filibustering his voice out) is passed in the House thus giving the Dems a second “bipartisan” bill to crow about? You win some, you lose some.
Hopefully McCarthy has now found his voice (pardon the pun) and from this point on will fight with more vigor. He needs positive feedback right now from Pubs for doing something very right, rather than suffering our slings and arrows that will get us nowhere. This McCarthy I like.
If he gets good feedback, it will help to prop up his spine. I hope he’s catching on that to fight Dems, you must stoop to their level, and fight as dirty as they do. It’s WAR. Trump understands this; DeSantis does too.

By tomorrow, because of McCarthy’s hopefully all night filibuster, the rest of the scoring by the CBO will be complete and the truth will out as to the bill “not costing a penny” of the taxpayers dollars. And the vote is not happening tonight because of McCarthy’s tactics.
Now let’s see what those Dems who were waiting to see the CBO’s numbers are going to do Friday, as the truth of the numbers will be available for all to see. Now if all the Dems, including the alleged “moderate” ones vote for this bill, they will be doing so with the actual spending numbers out there for all citizens to see. The Dems will now not be able to vote with deceptive accounting numbers. What a difference a day will make. They wanted to pass this in the dark of night; now they won’t be able to. It will be in the glare of daylight for all to see. No cover for the moderate Dems; their cover is blown as of Friday morning as the word will be out. Hung on your own petard, you moderates; nowhere for you to hide.
Totaling $10,000 in one year in all tansactions. In effect it is really $5000, since if for example you deposit 1000 and then withdraw it, that is $2000 in transactions, though only $1000 in actual dollars.

Recent info from Red State posted on FR shows that the CBO estimates the bill would add 159 Billion to the deficit.
Not good news for the DEMONRATS!

That’s vastly under-estimated. It will add a lot more to the deficit than this figure.
