Where was McCarthy when there were 13 traitors that supported that BS infrastructure bill? He was MIA and he’s now trying to win back the base if and when the GOP wins control of the House in ‘22.

I don’t know what will happen when this goes to the Senate. Maybe it will fail. We are dependent on two moderate Dems. God help us.

And if it passes the Senate and becomes law you can bet if the GOP takes control they don’t have the balls to roll it back.

They've already shown to be "independent" so that'll be enough to get them reelected in 2024. Now they'll have to go back to the left in order to appeal to their base.

You tell me how he could have stopped them, smarty pants. Alienate them by depriving them of something so that they wouldn’t stick with the rest of the Pubs when the second bill the Dems are voting on (tomorrow, Friday as tonite McCarthy is filibustering his voice out) is passed in the House thus giving the Dems a second “bipartisan” bill to crow about? You win some, you lose some.

Hopefully McCarthy has now found his voice (pardon the pun) and from this point on will fight with more vigor. He needs positive feedback right now from Pubs for doing something very right, rather than suffering our slings and arrows that will get us nowhere. This McCarthy I like.

If he gets good feedback, it will help to prop up his spine. I hope he’s catching on that to fight Dems, you must stoop to their level, and fight as dirty as they do. It’s WAR. Trump understands this; DeSantis does too.
