Exactly. If an unwanted touch, kiss, sexual comment, or other physical contact by a man is labeled sexual assault by the left, why isn't an unwanted touch, pat or slap, and verbal abuse called assault by those same libs when it happens to a Republican? It is assault. I am so sick of people here on FR who are willing to give a pass to assholes like this. This lowering of the charge is no different than the FBI, or local law enforcement giving a high school kid a pass, interviewing him, and claiming he's not a threat to himself or others, who then not long afterwards, goes out and shoots, and kills multiple people in a school.
