WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A federal judge on Thursday declined to issue an immediate ruling on former President Donald Trump’s request to appoint a special master to review the trove of documents seized in the Mar-a-Lago raid last month.
Instead, US District Judge Aileen Cannon said she would release a written statement in “due course.”

I think so too. She got rolled because she waited. Had she acted quickly she would have been safe. She went the cautious deliberate route and the legal hordes rolled over her like the walking dead.

This sounds to me like “request denied” instead of the initial response which sounded like she was prepared to fulfill his request for a “Special Master”.

Trump has grounds for appeal when this judge denies his motion.
The dismissal or seeming dismissal of FBI agent Tim Thibault as colluding to stop Trump is grounds because there are many others. One of them FBI agent Auten.
The DOJ and FBI will attempt to say the problem (Thibault) was a single individual who has been dealt with. Let’s see how far they get with that.
Choosing a special master is analogous to choosing a jury, ensuring unbiased review of documents.
