ABC legal analyst Sunny Hostin said Friday on “The View” that late Queen Elizabeth II wore a crown with jewels “pillaged from India and Africa” that represented a monarchy “built on the backs of black and brown people.”
Hostin said during the panel discussion about the queen’s death, “I studied in London, and so I lived in London for a while. I got caught up in the pomp and circumstance of it all as well. I wanted to see the changing of the guards. I wanted to see everything. I wanted to meet the queen because I think we all love glam and pageantry. I think, though, we can mourn the queen and not the empire.”

As far as I can tell, the Queen served with grace and dignity for 70 years. Now, apparently, critics of the monarchy see an opportunity with Charles. Whatever Charles decides to do should be interesting, if nothing else.
Exactly correct. The blacks practiced slavery in Africa long before the white man. The white man in Europe practiced slavery historically in Europe. Those slaves were white, black and Middle Eastern. The Muslims practiced slavery also and in some places it still exists. The Muslims had black slaves, white slaves and Middle Eastern Slaves. Slavery was and is an evil practiced by all races, religions, and cultures. IT IS NOT THE WHITE MANS GUILT. It is the guilt of all humanity. I worked in Nigeria out of a port called Escravos. That is Portuguese for slave. It was a slave port and trading port in times past. English, Dutch, American, and Portuguese ships called at this port to buy slaves from black Africans. As mentioned it is not "The White Mans Guilt." It is the guilt of all society during those times.
It was Portugal who started this mess in 1441.

There was a monarchy in England 1000 years ago. The black and brown people have been taking white slaves almost all of that time.
