Only morons support a corrupt nation that has zero national interests to the US. Censorship of the media, elimination of opposition political parties and attacks against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church are just some of the freedom enhancing things that have happened in Ukraine. Of course, the United States is not culpable when they fund all of Ukraine’s government and prolong a war that has killed over a 160,000 people. It’s only money and lives, and we know all the right people in DC will see a return on the American serfs’ investment.

a) By invading Ukraine and starting another war of aggression in Europe, Russia definitely made it in US interests to stop its invasion. As far a corruption goes, Ukraine is as white as the driven snow compared to Moscow. Romania and Bulgaria are probably even more corrupt and they are in the EU and NATO. If there's any corruption problem with Ukraine and the US, the problem lies in DC not Kiev.

b) Ukraine is hardly persecuting the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. There is a Ukrainian Orthodox Church that claims to be autocephalus but is not recognized as independent by other Orthodox churches due to Russian money. Although in communion with other Orthodox churches since 2018, the only recognized Orthodox Church is the Russian Orthodox Church which is little more than a tool of Moscow. It is being investigated as acting as such. There is also the Uniate Church in Western Ukraine which is Orthodox in organization and liturgy but recognizes the Pope as head of the Church. There is also a small Catholic minority and small Evangelical churches. So the only Orthodox Church with problems is the one that is little more than an intel operation for Moscow.

c) What exactly did the US or Ukraine do to provoke a war of aggression? Russia is the only party to do so, starting first in 2014 and again this year. To claim that Ukraine's attempt to join NATO or the EU is a "provocation" is simply begging the question because it assumes that Moscow is right to claim a "sphere of interest" in its "near abroad," something the US has rejected since the USSR disintegrated not only in Ukraine but also in the Caucasus and in the Balkans.

You're talking about Biden, right?
Yeah, I don't think Biden has singled out Ukrainian churches here, I think any Christian church is under attack, especially if it doesn't toe the latest Leftist dogma to the letter.

Didn't I read where the Russian Orthodox Church blessed Putin's invasion of Ukraine?
So what's up with that?
