A baby boom in the mid-20th century saw the average woman give birth to between three and four children. Today, just 1.6 children - the lowest level recorded since data was first tracked in 1800.

The real concern of government is that men won’t be subsidizing women and their offspring they have from 20 years of “having fun” with scores of other guys prior.

You have to be able to find a woman who is or has some conservative values, and hasn’t hit the wall. That, and she has to have a mutual interest in starting a family.
Or, there are a lot of infertile couples due to the jabs.

Notice how this is set up. Itโs the scare the old people tactic, and if you dare say โcut spendingโ youโll be accused of pushing Grandma over the cliff, even if you donโt want to cut Medicare and Social Security. All levels of government need to be massively cut. That will lead to more freedom and economic prosperity. Cutting spending solves many problems.
I think the real reason is despair. That other stuff is rationalization.
What Happened??
Ill tell you what happened.
Schools and parents told children that having babies was thankless work with no rewards.
Children were given dolls to care for, dolls that cried and gave no positive reinforcement, little Japanese egg things that were to be carried and cared for to earn an grade and to be trained in hating to have babies. BRAVE NEW WORLD COULD NOT HAVE DESIGNED IT BETTER.
Children were taught that abortion was brave and made sense, and that one cannot have a full life with infants and children.
Adults TAUGHT children not to want babies. And of course it worked. YOUR SCHOOLS AND CULTURE DID THIS.
I see the difference with the homeschooled kids who had and enjoyed their brothers and sisters and friends children. The girls who cannot wait to help in nursery at church, the boys who play and piggy back little kids in the yard. I do not know a homeschool family who has less than three children and most have four to six.
The other places I see people who uphold children are the LDS and the Anabaptists, Amish and Mennonites. And they have large families a skill that is upheld and revered.
One other thing I think may play into tanking western babymaking is that as far as I know, Western countries are the only ones that have fathers in the labor and delivery room. I think that it has an effect of men and women and their sexual lives. Dad is best in the waiting room. Let women tend to the delivering mother.

And part of that has to do with women delaying having children. Of the women who do have children, they tend to have fewer children in their fertile lifetime than women did in past decades.
And there a reasons for that such as women in their fertile mid 20s or late 20s going to graduate school or Law School, and taking birth control pills the whole time.
Are they Mormons? Conservative Baptists?
Compared to men, you see them lean left.
So we'll cease to exist. They'll be more Mormons, Hispanics and Amish in the next couple of generations.
