All the major churches have been infiltrated.
John Paul II was a tough and smart guy. And Benedict XVI was, as far as I can tell, a tough and smart guy. And both held mighty office.
Yet evidently both were unable to make a dent in the church’s homosexual mafia. Is that mafia really that powerful? Or is something else going on here?
Maybe JPI was a warning of what happens when you mess with them.
Maybe they're both gay.
Homosexuality, and not by any stretch priestly celibacy, is the root cause.

He was qualified to deliver the verdict to the American Church hierarchy. Which he did—about 20 years ago. And the latter responded in the manner you might guess they would. Shamefully so.
They just were never invited to the parties, is all. So they never really knew about it.
I maybe heard of ONE or TWO girls being victims from priests.
It is, and has been, for generations.

I’ve thought about that. But by golly, sometimes you’ve got to just strap on your helmet, take incoming fire, and storm the enemy fort. JP II had that sort of grit. No doubt about it. Benedict probably did as well. Yet evidently both of them declined to take the risk.
That surprises and disappoints me, particularly in the case of JP II.
The straight guy who is willing to give up sex and family just doesn’t exist anymore in very large numbers. These days the only type of man who is willing to give up the touch of a woman to live for the rest of their mortal life among a bunch of other men is oftentimes unsurprisingly a closeted gay man.
There are filthy priests in the Catholic Church and its members know it. Have been for a long time and in great numbers. Burn it to the ground and start over. Or a schism.
I guess the book “What Christianity Is” is not yet published.
I’d like to buy it when available.

Husband and I went to a conservative affair in New Jersey years ago and met a monsignor who told us he was involved in interviewing applicants for a seminary. He personally had rejected several homosexuals and that there was an ongoing effort by the communists to infiltrate seminaries with their applicants.
If the young men did not "bite" on the gay stuff, the would tempt them with women, also to get blackmail on them.
That's how the mafia kept their power.
Seminaries are not unlike universities. Hmm, makes you wonder what else is going to collapse.

Then Holy Mother Church shrinks and gets by with fewer holy priests. Benedict predicted this.
The Vatican needs to come clean on what happened to Emanuela Orlandi, the 15 year old Vatican girl who disappeared in June 1983. So many secrets they’ve held close to the vest.

The Vatican has a decent intelligence service. So I find that to be a bit hard to believe. The best I can guess is that John Paul II and Benedict both just decided to kick the can down the road to avoid embarrassing the church.
If that was the case, it was a pretty miserable decision.
I am done with marxist ideology in my church.
The Catholic Church faithful need to choose.
Traditional doctrine, or a socialist/marxist church which will resemble nothing close to biblical teaching.
Being a traditionalist, I know what I choose!
Let a schism in the Catholic Church happen if it must.
The entire world is infected by post-modernism, and the Catholic Church is infected. It resisted it, but the walls are crumbling.
I went to a Jesuit University. I met there some very scholarly, urbane old Jesuits, and some fruity, young (very likely) homosexual Jesuits.
What bothers me most is their hypocrisy. Even in the 1990s, the world would not have cared if they were homosexuals, but they chose the ONE profession which of course was against homosexuality and demanded celibacy, and then live a LIE.
