In the video, Buttigieg skirts a series of questions from a reporter while walking on the street, referring to his comments to the media earlier in the day and noting that he was "taking some personal time" when approached.
At the end of the clip, the Biden administration chief asks to take a picture of the reporter, Jennie Taer, of the Daily Caller. "I guess he didn't like that [I was asking him about the derailment] so he took a pic[ture] of me," she wrote. "I'm just doing my job, sir."

If Pete isn't one of the most disgusting lazy obnoxious creepy people there are, I can't name many worse.

...we all know what would happen if Trump or any of his staff said “right now I’m just enjoying some personal time”. Kaboom, Kablam, Shatter...
At least somebody was.
I once worked with some McKinsey consultants who were pretty sharp, at least in a theoretical way. Being the consument lightweight its mystifying how someone like Pete could worm his way into a noted consultancy like that. I mean, what kind of customer would pay those very high labor rates for his “expertise”?
In the consulting world you live and die by your knowledge and skills. Pete exhibits no such attributes.

Highly paid government officials don’t have personal time. They owe the public a service, as long as they are collecting a salary from the public.
He has already had his “family leave” time.
