I hope and pray the Deep State doesn’t go through with it. Because you are correct. It will cement the belief that the United States of America is finished, and we now live in a lawless nation flush with political prosecutions against—US!
I dedicated a great deal of my life to this country in the military and now I am the enemy—white, male, Christian, Conservative Ango-Saxon. What did I do wrong? I was born. My “identity” is their enemy.
I absolutely want McCarthy to release all the payoffs Congress has made to people for members sexually harassing and intimidating them. There has been, just in this century, $100s of millions paid and it is all kept VERY secret by Congressional leadership.
Somehow, someway, we need to fight back. Non-violent Civil disobedience should be the way. No Jan 6 for them! Just don’t be a good guy/gal and sucker to Uncle Sam. Work less, pay less taxes. Barter, don’t buy. Use cash as much as possible. Refuse to pay for government crap and try to legally avoid taxes and payments.
I don’t know what else that will work, but I do remember back in the Soviet days what some Russian factory worker said:
“They pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work.”
By the way, if anything terrible does start and end badly, don't be surprised if strangers knock on your door and identify themselves by their Freeper names. I am really surprised that all of the violence has been one-sided. If/when the time comes, there is no clean dividing line like last time.
