Let’s be blunt — legal weed is turning New York workers into zombies
New York Post ^ | Apr 16, 2023 | Steve Cuozzo

The Big Apple is now the Big Blunt.

Not just because decriminalized marijuana led to proliferating mayhem in the five boroughs.

Not just because stinky smoke hangs everywhere, seeping into subway cars and even Broadway theaters — the acrid odor I detected in the crowded men’s room of the Majestic Theatre a few weeks ago was not from “The Phantom of the Opera” smoke machine.

It’s also because of a forbidden-to-utter truth, in an age where raising the minimum wage ever higher has become mantra — namely, a license to get high has turned service employees into zombies.

Thus it will be with ANY jurisdiction legalizing weed, either recreational or “medical.”

Lower societal standards and watch all the wonderful things it brings.

Washington state legalized marijuana years ago. Here in the I-5 corridor of Washington state most of the folks were already zombies and thus I saw no increase in legalizing weed.

The I-5 corridor has been a hive brain for several decades.

Our nation is becoming more and more sedated thanks to the legalization laws and the shame of being a stoner fading away.

On a selfish note, I am thankful that I can now buy something that helps me get enough sleep and that would be the CBD/THC gummies. From decades of 3 to 5 hours of sleep a night to 6 to 7 hours, I have finally found something that works. I don't like it but I have to sleep.

It is not just New York City. Everywhere you go you see these pot head zombies, you smell the pot, etc. I see people smoking it while driving, while at work, etc. It is out of control.

The widespread legalization in the US, is simply a move by the Leftist/Socialist/Marxist/Communist/Anarchists to make the younger population more compliant, and readily accept their coming brand of Socialism.

Yes, indeed. More brain damaged zombies, more drug cartels and black market, more crime, etc. Exactly the opposite of what the pro-legalization crowd said would happen, but anyone with a functioning brain knew would happen.

A big part of the Soros agenda.

This is a Plan B move by the Globalists and Communists. They were hoping the COVID lockdowns would have kept everyone inside so they can drink themselves to death. The lockdowns and vaccines have backfired so they’re opening up the borders to bring in cheap Fentanyl and making weed as widespread as smoking a cigarette.

That’s because the I-5 corridor has had de facto “legalization” for decades in the form of non-enforcement. You’d have to go back at least 25 years to make a valid comparison.

Yes, let’s just forget that “three martini lunches” and offices with an ashtray on every desk were ever a thing and blame the kids for the downfall of society because a few of them sneak a puff of weed while they’re at work.

I’m on the verge of declaring libertarians worse than leftists. They put a purported “nice” face on societal destruction.

Oh stop your bitching.

You can all guzzle your Bud Light, sip your Jameson, and quaff your Two Fingers, but y’all get your britches in a twist cuz of weed?

I have to tolerate your bathed in Polo stench, or your gagging Patchouli Hippie rank, bit a little Sinsemilla gets your nose tweaked?

Grow the hook up.

Don’t like it? Too effin bad.
