The Big Apple is now the Big Blunt.
Not just because decriminalized marijuana led to proliferating mayhem in the five boroughs.
Not just because stinky smoke hangs everywhere, seeping into subway cars and even Broadway theaters — the acrid odor I detected in the crowded men’s room of the Majestic Theatre a few weeks ago was not from “The Phantom of the Opera” smoke machine.
It’s also because of a forbidden-to-utter truth, in an age where raising the minimum wage ever higher has become mantra — namely, a license to get high has turned service employees into zombies.

The stench of weed is everywhere.
Weed pigs don't care.
Great, the Dumb are getting dumber!
“Let’s be blunt — legal weed is turning New York workers into zombies”
It’s legal in DC too... might explain a couple of things going on at the Capital and in the WH.
Could this be why the countries that have cultivated cannabis the longest forbid it? Duh!
Have lived in and around NYC most of my life - low level service workers are either surly, zombies, or surly zombies since I was a child. As far as the smell of concerned, weed is still preferable to eau de homeless.
We live in the I-5 corridor and worked in the I-5 corridor. And my wife and I still commute every day. You must either be a shut-in, or you are being willfully ignorant. Your reality is the opposite of what has actually happened. There is not any day of the week when we don’t smell it coming form the cars in front of us or in the neighborhoods we live and work in.”
My house sits on an acre north of Seattle so I do not smell it from my house. I commute sporadically to the big office buildings in Seattle but I go early and return late in a carpool. In the express lanes I do not smell it in other cars since we pass most of them.
My point was that the people I encounter in this area and have for 50 years have been zombies for decades so I’m not sure that pot has affected them.
Look for Gummies with a higher percentage of CBN. Personally, I swear by doxylamine succinate, an OTC antihistamine.
melatonin 3mg ... no more ... no less ... half hour before retiring ... give it a few days to kick in ... $1.25 dollar tree 30 day supply
“Get more work done.”
I get zero work done if I don’t get 8-9 hours of sleep.
I tried vaping THC/CBD for the same purpose. Gave me 4 hours of great sleep but that was it. Wide awake after that. It makes sense that an edible product would work over a longer duration.
I wouldn’t take a first generation antihistamine except on an occasional basis.

I am sorry that your experience is different from ours. I do not believe that your impression is representative of what most people who do not live in an area where people have 1 acre lots in a suburban area.
“Smoke one joint of today’s dope and you’re wasted”
Forget one joint, just one drag/inhale of today’s high potency (90%+ THC) concentrates and you’re high if a naive user with no tolerance. I wouldn’t quite say “wasted”; maybe 3 or 4 for that.
#5 Try Melatonin.
Not addictive and no withdrawal symptoms and no psychotic paranoid delusions.

I have a relative who smokes marijuana and she swears that it does not cause paranoid delusions. They talk to me about all kinds of conspiracies from 9/11 to chemtrails... you can say anything and they will come up with some sort of conspiracy.
Lotus Eaters are easy to control.
I cannot smoke the stuff... lungs rebel... but I love the edibles.
I am anything but a zombie!
People sometimes say, “Look at that guy! Drugs made him stupid!”
I reply, “Did you check him before? He was stupid then, too.”
History proves that fact.
Yes, and melatonin, valerian, tryptophan, ZZZQuil, antihistamines, all of them.
Melatonin doesn’t help and gives me disturbing dreams.
Yeah, melatonin has not helped at all.
