In a phone interview with radio host Glenn Beck for the Thursday edition of The Glenn Beck Program, DeSantis finally punched back against those claims. A clip from their exchange began circulating Twitter via Citizen Free Press.
“I think he did great for three years, but when he turned the country over to Fauci in March of 2020, that destroyed millions of people’s lives,” DeSantis said. “In Florida, we were one of the few that stood up, cut against the grain, took incoming fire from media, bureaucracy, the left, even a lot of Republicans, had schools open, preserved businesses.”

Any President under those circumstances would have done the same thing... unfortunately.
What did DeSantis have to say about FauXi, good or bad, in March 2020, or shortly thereafter?
Did he warn Trump not to use FauXi? Did he say anything at all?

That is clearly not an outright denial. He probably wasn't planning for it at that point, a year before the governor's race, because had he lost the governors race, any chance of running for President would have been out the window.
When asked about it in the debate and before the election, he never said he wasn't running for President, or promised to fill out his term. We still voted for him, anyway.

When this COVID *hit came down I did notice Mike Pence being handed the bag of *hit without the bag put in charge of the White House Task Force Fauci and Deborah Birx working with him Birx referred to by Pence as his “right arm”.
Birx flew around especially after the election in 2020 pushing lockdowns in Utah no family gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
She pushed a mask order in North Dakota the Governor Doug Burgum put into place and one “in the Gulf Coast area” that Tate Reeves the governor in Mississippi imposed for awhile.
There was a national emergency trillions of dollars dispensed in 2020 dependent upon compliance with federal directives.
Those trillions in inflation generating funds the first two trillion signed off by POTUS Donald J. Trump only Congressman Thomas Massie who supports DeSantis now opposing the massive spending.

I got thrown off the beach in Volusia County FL and I was the only person for miles.
He was as fooled by covid as anyone else.
Florida’s coronavirus cases kept ballooning, especially in the dense neighborhoods of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Hospitals in Fort Myers and Naples begged for donations of masks and other protective equipment. Young people started to die.
And still, Gov. Ron DeSantis resisted. The man entrusted with keeping many of the country’s grandparents safe did not want to dictate that all Floridians had to stay at home.
What it took for Mr. DeSantis to change his mind on Wednesday and finally issue a statewide order were a phone call with President Trump...
What did he deliver?
4 years of peace and prosperity.
A constitutional Supreme Court.
An end to federal tax subsidies to high tax liberal states.
Yes, what did he deliver…
Trump should have fired Fauci and Birx. No question about it.
