In a shocking turn of events, the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir was interrupted and stopped while singing the National Anthem in Statuary Hall at the United States Capitol.

The children, part of the esteemed Rushingbrook Children’s Choir, had traveled to Washington, D.C., for a scheduled Capitol tour and had received prior approval to sing a short set of patriotic songs inside the historic Statuary Hall.

However, as their angelic voices filled the grand hall while singing The Star-Spangled Banner with pride, Capitol Police rudely intervened, insisting that the children stop singing immediately. The abrupt interruption stunned the young performers, the choir director, and the assembled audience.

The Capitol Police did not allow the young children to finish the song and sought to explain to the choir director that singing the national anthem at the nation’s Capitol is considered a form of protest.

Remind me again why I’m supposed to support the police when all they are is the armed enforcement wing of the DNC?

the attempt to put us under the authority of the UN failed - except that our Federal government simply morphed into the UN while weren’t paying attention

At least they didn’t shoot any of these violent protesters. Or jail them without trial for an extended time. Well . . . this time.

They are well trained on certain items.

But if the singers had a permit?

They did not realize they were in enemy occupied territory.

There should be signs at least!

you said ..”why I’m supposed to support the police”

I don’t think all “police” would have stopped these kids.
I’m pretty sure my local sheriff would have been singing along.
It’s important to remember that there are still some good guys out there.
.... i just don’t think the capitol police are in that group.

Congressman Joe Wilson, although unable to attend the event himself, expressed his disappointment upon learning of the incident.

Disappointed? He should be PO'd and ripping the Capitol Police a new one. And the response from the other GOP rep quoted in this article is just as lame.

Where are Kevin McCarthy and McConnell? This is unbelievable; the Capitol Police are there for protection not to police thought and conduct, period.

The Capitol Police - - like the corrupt FBI and MSM exists o protect white liberal elite’s power and their criminal grievance groups.’’

NOT US>

When we talk about supporting the police we’re NOT talking about Capitol Police - NOT the people who murdered Ashli Babbitt - we’re talking about the police who protect citizens. Big difference between a private thug group for ‘elites’ and the folks who protect US. All of us.

The national anthem is considered an outlawed tune? This is like a scene out of Braveheart.
