One of the most common strategies used by the political left to attack 2nd Amendment supporters is to ramp up the anti-gun hype every time a crime involving a gun is committed. They don’t care much about the tragedy itself, they only care about how they can use it for political gain. However, it’s very important to understand that this is not only about removing gun rights for leftists – It’s also about creating a false association in the public consciousness that guns = crime.
That is to say, they want to condition people to believe that once guns are gone, crime and murder will be gone also. But, firearms have been an integral part of American society for hundreds of years, and gun ownership has been present through times of relative peace as well as times of increased violence.

In the US, violent crimes and murders are exponentially higher in Democrat run cities, many of them with increased gun control measures. In fact, of the top 30 most violent cities in the US, 27 of them are Democrat controlled. Wherever leftists dominate politically, violence, theft, rape and murder are sure to follow. Anti-gun proponents often try to cite high homicide numbers in certain conservative states like Texas, but the majority of those crimes are actually committed in cities run by leftists.

We do need to bring back in-patient institutions for the mentally ill. More gun laws will solve nothing since only those who obey laws would be subject to those new regulations. Enforcing the gun laws in democrat run cities by sentencing convicted felons, found in possession of a gun when committing another crime, to ten years in prison might start making a difference.

“Celebrating” it is exactly the correct word to use. When I watched the movie “What is a Women?” last night, it almost made me cry in despair at the mental health officials that celebrated and encouraged the mental illness of those they were trusted to help.
My dad once made a statement about life in the 1930s. All it took in rural Alabama was two relatives to wrote a one-paragraph letter each to the county judge...saying so-and-so relative was crazy, and the judge would send the person off for 30 days at some state facility. More than half of those doing the 30 days...would return home, and learned the lesson that you either act mature or spend a long time in the asylum facility.
I don’t have a problem in supporting asylums coming back, but at the present pace...I’d say more than 10-million would require entry and permanent housing. I don’t see how that would work.
I’ve been saying that the left celebrates mental illness for about 18 years now. Long before this trans crap became a political wedge.
Liberalism is a mental illness. Every policy position they have shows it.

Aren’t democrat run cities and liberal colleges open lunatic asylums anyway?
The solution would be to quarantine the large cities run by democrats and wait about 5 years. Just air-drop food and water, and allow no exit from the city-dwellers. Natural selection should have kicked in by then.
That would also require fewer mental hospitals outside the quarantine areas.
