Donald Trump in 2018 signed a sweeping national security bill into law. The bill increased punishments for those who mishandle classified information. The measure is of note after the Mar-a-Lago raid, thought to be connected to government documents.

It's not polling. It's the incontrovertible evidence that Obama and Biden accepted a five million dollar bribe in return for policy influence. It happened when FJB was VP and Obama was President. The only way influence could be peddled is with Obama's participation.
Biggest scandal in the history of the USA.
Not sure it matters as charges are in FL where the alleged crime occurred *after* he was no longer president but will be interesting to see.
Really? I’m still waiting for the dog to bite Hillary in the ass!!!! No, this nation is controlled by them. We relinquished our rights when we did not even take a stand to stand with Trump or defend our borders. He is a representation of us is ..he is representing us and this is what the swamp has done to Americans. Folks remember the rally cry give me liberty or give me death … too bad our children will never know a free America. We have turned into a Third World country like Brazil, Venezuela, and all the nations that were once prosperous and have fallen because of corrupt socialist, communist POS demon governments! Don’t be fooled we are rapidly descending into a Third World hell hole. The evil globalist communist took over without firing a single shot!
If there is one person who can declassify, it is him.

My hatred for our political enemies is growing hourly.
Now I’m going to drink a beer & settle down.
It should, as he wasn’t even president when he took classified documents, but it probably won’t, because FBI & DoJ won’t charge him.
It is impossible for a current President to mishandle classified information. He classifies and declassifies it.
Who writes this crap? Since Trump declassified the documents, he was not handling classified documents.
whatever.
Trump also released to the public the order that declassified the materials which is dated BEFORE he left office.
Hey Morons, the purpose of increasing penalties was to protect American lives. Who has Trump endangered? Absolutely no one.
Those targeting Trump should be marched before a firing squad, but they will never be. They are destroying our republic, ensuring that elections henseforth are meaningless. It may already be too late to save America.
The perception of intent is really going to be interesting. I remember seeing a stump speech we Trump said he was going to declassify everything yet if he took documents ‘classified” documents that were clearly marked as “classified” and acknowledge they were classified, after he was no longer president then that is an interesting moment to present to the jury. Again, this is all conjecture and really irrelevant until the charges ad prelim evidence is disclosed on Tuesday so we wait.
BTW, those prosecutorial fiends should get a fair trial first. But frankly, they are doing more damage to us than the Rosenbergs.
What about all the others who took classified docs? And what damage did Trump do, or could he do, with those particular docs? This is targeting, and anyone who fails to see it is not intelligent enough to use this site.
The instant case will focus on intent and the fact it was filed in Miami mean the alleged crime, whatever it may be, occurred there. The presumption is it occurred *after* he was president, not while he was president. This will focus on intent. For example, where the documents still in “classified” folders, did he acknowledge they were classified and so on. This is of course conjecture because until Tuesday’s hearing nobody knows the details. Nothing has been made available on pacer last I looked.
Its really weird how they don’t know a president can declassify anything
Hillary was never President.
