Attorney General Merrick Garland defended the FBI during a press conference on Friday amid Republican frustration over the agency stonewalling their requests for information related to Hunter Biden.
“I certainly understand that some have chosen to attack the integrity of the Justice Department as components and its employees by claiming that we do not treat like cases alike,” he said, adding, “This constitutes an attack on an institution that is essential to American democracy and essential to the safety of the American people. Nothing could be further from the truth.”
Garland stated:
You’ve all heard me say many times that we make our cases based on the facts and the law. These are not just words. These are what we live by. They’re the foundation of the way we make these decisions. The agents of the FBI as well as the DEA, the ATF, our deputy US Marshals every day often at great personal risk, protect the American people and secure its safety. Our cases are based on their work. I could not be more proud to work with them.

so Merrick Garland is going to continue burn his credibility, and any other last ounce of credibility retained by the FBI, DOJ and the entire American justice system...all in an attempt to cover for the sleazy, greedy, drug-abusing son of maybe the worst President we’ve ever had...I think we are well past the point where it would best for Merrick’s conscience to simply admit the obvious and walk away
What I want to know is how did ALL the Dems coincidentally start parroting “democracy” “democracy” “Polly want a cracker.” (Maybe not the last part).
Is there a focus group psychologist handler who tells them what to say? I doubt the DNC or pollsters do it. “MAGA extremists” has replaced “America’s working families.” Rush used to joke the working families meant instead of a dad supporting his family in the 1950s now the Dem economy was so poor everyone including the children had to work to pay the bills. Worse today.
Communists used to tell small group members to push “the negro is doing the labor the capitalist is using to get rich” or “America has too much power in the world and the imbalance is bringing the world to war.”
Then you would hear that from every corner of the country from professors and labor organizers.
Did he mention anything about Brandon and the bribes?
I get the feeling that what our dear leaders mean by “our democracy” & “American democracy” is not quite what most people think they mean.
To Merrick Garland, "attacks on American Democracy" means attacks on Democrat party rule.
