The world’s oceans are off-the-charts warm — and the worst could be yet to come
NBC News / Comcast ^ | July 28, 2023 | By Denise Chow (D-NBC)

Scientists are running out of extreme adjectives to describe the state of the world’s oceans.

Global sea surface temperatures are spiking off the charts. The North Atlantic Ocean, in particular, has for months been engulfed in what scientists have said is an “unprecedented” marine heat wave. The Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean basin have also been unusually warm. The waters off the coast of Florida topped 100 degrees F multiple times this week — temperatures comparable to a hot tub.

What’s more, some scientists say the worst may be yet to come.

“We’re not even at the height of the summer,” said Svenja Ryan, a physical oceanographer at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts. “Typically, the ocean continues to warm until September, so I think certainly we can expect this heat wave to last into the fall.”

“As a scientist, you know this is well within the range of what climate models predict would happen at some point, but to see it actually happening is kind of scary,” she said.

In the 70’s and 80’s the media told us, many, many times, a new Ice Age was coming. They expect us to believe them now?

Looks like a selfie. Maybe she IS crazy, and can’t find a someone to take a picture of her.

And then there is Denise “Global sea surface temperatures are spiking off the charts” Chow (D-NBC), who is likely just as crazy.

What is not crazy, is the fact that the crazies want to rule us in every crazy way imaginable.

The King is coming....

And He is NOT crazy.

In Palm County, where the gulf Stream comes closest to land, water temp is up 2-3* from “normal” it happens every few years.

In Juno Beach (where the gulf stream kisses the shore) the water temperature is 86 today.

The same NBC that made false claims about exploding Chevy Pickups in the 60’s and 70’s but never mentions self igniting electric vehicles of this week; reporting lies for news going on half a century. I believe NBC!/s

Ssooooo if I send double the money to DC than I do now will that help Ukraine AND lower the water temps in the oceans...perhaps there should be some sort of flow chart so I can see where my money goes...

If NBC reports that the Rapture didn’t happen yesterday, you better start worrying.

I have been in the ocean at the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. It is very warm water. It is teeming with marine life and fish of every kind, size and color.

Warm water in the ocean is a paradise of ocean life.

If water near the surface is quite warm, the fish simply descend to a greater depth.

This is another nonsense alarm.

I wonder how it got the name of Manatee Bay? Maybe it is because the C-111 canal dumps into Manatee Bay so the water is always warmer there attracting Manatees in winter. It also is a shallow area closed in a circle with only one way out about fifty feet wide. The heat has nothing to do with the ocean. It is the heated water flowing down from miles and miles of irrigation canals tying into the C-111. More propaganda.

Yesterday I watched four professional, notable, experienced weathermen explain their outlook for winter with special emphasis on ocean temperatures and El Nino. Most of the group I watched have been ocean temperature watchers for a very long time. Ocean temp data is dependent on satellites and so has not been around for very long at all to make many trend or historical observations.

None of the professional weathermen and ocean temperature watchers made the slightest notice of any exceptional sea temperatures except to relate them to events in the near past to the 60s as analogue events for their forecasts.

Let me go at that again. NONE of the PROFESSIONAL and EXPERIENCED weathermen made any NOTE OR COMMENT THAT OCEAN TEMPERATURES ARE TEH SLIGHTEST BIT UNUSUAL or UNUSUALLY WARM.

NONE OUT OF 4.-

This chickie has an ax to grind and agenda to fulfill and she does look like one of those crazy eyed girlfriends who mutilate your parts in the night.

I’m sure her retort to criticism would be, “No, no, no. You’re not qualified to say anything, I’m an expert. You’re stupid.”

I’m sure it would be deemed not valid but some of us were around to remember the 1980 heat wave when Dallas had 69 days that summer with temps in excess of 100. One streak of 42 endless days all exceeded 100. People didn’t think it would ever end.

This chickie was not even a gleam in anyone’s eye in 1980 let alone alive to remember the events.

We all survived.

I have been on a navy ship in the Persian gulf when sea water was 105°. No cold water to shower with. Just the drinking fountains were cold. Even the air conditioning struggled to maintain 80°. I now live on a 500 acre lake and the water temp here about 20 feet off my dock is 85. Still swim in it and when I get out the rapid evaporation cools me off.

After reading this screaming cry from NBC, I decided to check for myself what some ocean temps are right now. So here they are: Key West 89.2, Bermuda 83.1, Myrtle Beach 83.7, Ocean City MD 77.2, Cape Cod 71.6 and Kennebunkport ME 69.5
So once again, the blatant lying liars at NBC are doing what they do best; lying their gluteous maximuses off! The whole Climate Change screed is a crock!
