President Biden on Tuesday said he and first lady Jill Biden would visit Hawaii though gave no timeline to do so amid criticism he has faced over his response to wildfires that have devastated the island of Maui.
“My wife Jill and I are going to travel to Hawaii as soon as we can. That’s what I’ve been talking to the governor about, I don’t want to get in the way. I’ve been to too many disaster areas,” Biden said at the top of remarks on the Inflation Reduction Act in Wisconsin.

Biden misspoke if he spoke of the Inflation Reduction Act..It was actually the Inflation Enlargement Act.
Biden IS a disaster!!
That’s the thing. Pres Trump wouldn’t say that. He’d be there.
He’d be asking questions and getting answers. He’d be calling people out.
And, more importantly, he’d be getting those people the help they need.
Even CornPop could tell them to fuel up AF1 at any moment and file the flight plan to Hawaii. His handlers won’t let him do that. No way they risk him walking around that place and, potentially, make impromptu comments about anything.

The Hawaiian Government should not give Joe landing clearance in Honolulu. There should have been several C5As, C141s and C17s loaded with 1000 National Guardsmen and Tons of food and water on way to Hawaii the moment that fire was out of control, plus amphibs to move food and water to the coast line of Maui in place immediately. Maybe Milley and Brown felt it was too Wokie for that to happen. Joint Chiefs all should be fired and the Biden Administration impeached by now.
Yep, his vacations are getting in the way of his visiting.
