Serbia and Russia have been preparing the Serbs for escalations in Kosovo for months, inflaming tensions in the Balkans to distract the West from its war in Ukraine. They have flooded the information space with propaganda repeating the old claim that Kosovo belongs to Serbia – one propaganda item argued that the UK is preparing a war there. As any student of Balkan history knows, such rhetoric has ignited ethnic violence in the region before.

Europe is NOT our problem. The feckless Euros have never played well in the sandbox together, and when they can’t get along they call on the US to rescue them, time and time and time again. I’m for dissolving NATO and all other alliances and really being America first. Keep the sea lines of communication open for trade that is in our interest, close the border, and let the rest of the world muddle along, if they can. IT IS NOT OUR PROBLEM!
NATO used to be a defensive organization. That changed when they bombed Serbia. Before that they had already taken sides in the Balkans as a "peacekeeper". They decided to "keep the peace" by allowing ethnic purges.
NATO has stolen NOTHING from Russia.
NATO has stolen from Russians by allowing the Baltics to "deRussianize", e.g. ban teaching Russian in schools under NATO protection. The Baltic states would say they are deSovietizing and they were the victims in the past. That's all true, but that doesn't justify reverse ethnic cleansing. Peaceful ethnic cleansing is still ethnic cleansing, and in Ukraine the ethnic cleansing wasn't peaceful before Russia attacked.
WWII made America the richest nation in the entire history of planet earth!
WWIII won't have that same effect. The crux of the issue is how to contain Russian without them waiting a few decades and coming back stronger than ever. We lack a long term plan.

Read again what I said previously.
I said : Unlike Russia, NATO has never ANNEXED territories by force and violence and declared “this is NATO-land now”!

Also as everyone knows from our history lessons :
Russia had stolen half of Europe for many decades, including the Baltic States (!). When the infamous Russian WALL finally got teared down and the Kremlin colonialist regime imploded, all those eastern countries previously stolen and/or under Russian control, finally got their freedom again.
They knew though that Russia would one day COME BACK with its usual neocon warmongering and for-ever-wars (which Russia indeed started to do again from 2014 and beyond). That’s why those small defenseless eastern nations demanded NATO’s protection, in order to not be invaded AGAIN!
And it worked! NATO’s defensive structure managed to stop Russia to steal back all those Eastern European nations.
HOWEVER (!) every sovereign eastern country not yet in NATO’s protective umbrella, have ALL(!) been invaded by Russia! Yes: Georgia, Moldova, Crimea, Ukraine...
THUS, we can agree that NATO defensive mechanism works!
NATO has ZERO interest, will, or structure to annex Russia other other countries. Even Putin knows that.

The NATO bombings that happened there were done only after endless discussions and negotiations were held with Serbia trying to make them stop the killings of their own people.
Unfortunately, the Soviet-inspired bloodthirsty communist apparatchik called MILOSEVIC continued the organized mass executions of civilians.
THAT triggered NATO to act. But again:
Unlike what Russia did in Ukraine, NATO didn’t put NATO troops on the ground in Serbia.
Unlike what Russia did to Ukraine, NATO didn’t invade Serbia.
Unlike what Russia did to Ukraine, NATO didn’t ANNEX Serbia.
Unlike what Russia did to Ukraine, NATO didn’t kidnap thousands of Serbian children.
Unlike what Russia did to Ukraine, NATO didn’t level (Grozny-style) entire villages and and towns in Serbia.
Unlike what Russia did to Ukraine, NATO didn’t purposely mass bomb civilian apartments and houses were regular citizens live and sleep.
How odd, I’ve always heard the US was a debtor nation.

The world is full of gas and oil and Russia is not the only source. The Gulf States and even Israel have pipelines to Europe on the drawing boards ready to go. The only reason for Russia to be in Syria was to prevent the pipelines from reality and eliminate the competition.
