Governor Andy Beshear (D-KY) said Wednesday on CNN’s “News Central” that his reelection shows the Republicans demonizing groups of people is not a winning strategy.
Anchor Kate Bolduan said, “Governor, when you hear people say that your reelection and the way you ran your campaign provides a blueprint for how Democrats should being elsewhere and across the country. Do you agree?”

No Abortions + Welfare = Bad Juju
That’s why a lot of Republican voters don’t really care about abortion.
I wonder how he explained all the rest of his ticket not getting elected...LOL What a dimwit Dofus
And has communicable diseases,too- they never think about that those who “think” with their groin.
He also spent $17 million on ads to Cameron’s $3.9 million.Add to that at least an equal amount of free coverage from a fawning media, and Beshear's massive name recognition in the state. It was an uphill climb for anyone, but the GOP's failure to provide effective support to Cameron (or recruit a more effective candidate in the first place) has to be recognized. Ronna McDaniel owes her position to her family connections, and has shown herself to be an abject failure. Lots of blame to go around this cycle, but if the GOP had any political sense (they don't) they would start by getting someone competent to head up the national committee.
Yep - I’ve heard them tell me directly
They “demonize groups of people” . . . like baby-butchers, just to name one example.
“Hateful violent racist misogynist MAGA extremists that should be excluded from society, locked up and executed, lost because they demonize people.”
No Democrat is capable of understanding irony, not one.
Good thing the Democrats don’t do that. Oh wait....
I think it had more to do with Cameron being an Establishment Republican handpicked by McConnell and BeShear massively outspending him.
Hard to get a Black man elected Gov. in Kentucky.
They cheated MASSIVELY in 2020.
There is NO reason to think they wouldn't do it again.
And he's hot...
Let’s not forget he’s also demonizing Republicans.

Daniel Cameron lost because he couldn’t alleviate the stench of Mitch McConnell. I told him early that’s a big burden to overcome. McConnell and Romney are Kryptonite for Republican Candidates. I moved him up 25 Points, but the McConnell relationship was “too much to bear.” Tate Reeves, on the other hand, surged to a win for Governor in Mississippi after my involvement. Congratulations to Tate!
In the face I’m not changing my view like I said Abortion is an ugly thing I called Joe Biden’s handling of the US economy an Abortion.
Thinking needs to change so best to get people thinking in those terms.
Something bad is happening call it an Abortion.
Tech companies may be forced to red flag or censor the word out if people’s posts in that vein get too numerous and notices.
as he demonizes a group of people...
I think the results just reflect the fact that Dominion is still counting the votes.
Beshear actually did a good job threading the needle during COVID. He was out on TV every single weekday with situation reports, many of which were useful. He does not associate in public with flaming libs. OTOH, Cameron was cited as being in favor of going after women’s health records for out of state abortions, which he AFAIK did not deny. IMO, that was a Red Line.
If (R)’s can’t come to some reasonable compromise on this (16 weeks?), they will be (L)osers.
“Hard to get a Black man elected Gov. in Kentucky”
Uhhhh…not true. The RURAL areas, including many poor white areas, voted for him. Lexington, Louisville, and the burbs of Cincy, not so much.
Says the party who blames every problem on whites, Christians, and men.
