Bob..got news for ya...Hulu is far safer for kids then Disney.
In the Covid-era, I had Disney-plus for about 12 months. I’ll admit there were a lot of the 1960s/1970s Disney classics there which I watched. The Marvel and Star Wars stuff were marginally interesting. At some point, I’d see the bulk of the historical stuff, and left the service. If you asked me over what they were producing that would interest juveniles or teens...I’d say less than 10-percent was aimed at them.
I think streaming was a mistake, because no studio produces enough quality shows by themselves to make it worth paying for that channel alone.
Either have a specialty channel, like A&E or sci-fi or cartoon or drama or go back to regular cable.
If I still watched tv, which I haven’t since about 2003 or 2004, I’d be wiling to pay for a themed channel that shows everything of its genre from all the studios, but I wouldn’t pay for streaming from a single studio.
Had Disney+ to watch the old Disney movies. Now they put disclaimers up before any of those movies saying that they never meant to disparage or disrespect this group or that group in their portrayal. What a bunch of horsesh*t!
They have a great historical catalog but all the recent stuff is garbage. Even the Marvel stuff has lost its luster since Thanos.
Disney had been going downhill long before wokism. When something I clicked on offered some free Disney for a week or so, followed by a monthly fee, I wanted to find a way to send out “you cannot pay me to watch.”
We grew up loving Sunday evenings with Disney. We will remember those wonderful times, and hold on to our wallets.

It costs between &6.99 nd $7.99/month but the movies the sell ae $5 over other priced movie on other streaming venues. Plus I’d imagine that most of the free stuff is their woke PoC hero/heroine stuff of late.

I stream Starz, Pluto (free), and Peacock ($59 a year) plus a couple of the free conservative media like Right Side, Newsmax, Burrow plus other free services on Roku. No MAX or Disney. If my husband could navigate the Roku, I’d cut the cord on DirecTV.
The ironic thing is Disney used to make billions licensing out their content to Netlfix. But they tried to do it themselves and instead have been losing billions.
