The Army’s recruiting of white soldiers in 2023 had dropped almost by half in the last five years, according to a report.
That dramatic decline has coincided with a push by the service to increase recruitment of a more diverse population, according to a report.
The decline of white recruits has also coincided with the Army missing its target of 65,000 recruits in 2023 by 10,000.
Military.com reported Wednesday that Army internal data showed that a total of 44,042 new Army recruits were categorized by the service as white in 2018, but that number has fallen consistently each year to a “low” or 25,070 in 2023. The outlet reported a six percent dip from 2022 to 2023 was the most significant drop. No other demographic group has seen such a precipitous decline, it added.

Baffled? When you vilify and demonize and marginalize whites — especially white, heterosexual males (who have been historical warriors) — don’t be surprised if they don’t heed your call to service.
Picture ten recruits: from 6/10 to 4/10 in five years. It’s sad, but certainly not “baffling.” What is worse is what the Army will be the future.
A lot of Air Force pilots end up in the commercial world. Guess who is now going to flying our commercial airplanes in the near future.

There are less white people in general in the age group that would generally sign up for military service

My SIL is two-plus years into a 6-year Navy contract and he’s saying now he’s out of there after it whereas when he decided to join he wanted a career.

White men are told they have too much “privilege.”
Promotions are based more on pretty much any characteristic but merit. If you are a white male, don’t hold your breath.

Oh, they know the reason for the drop. But all the brass want their juicy retirements and multi-million dollar defense jobs after retiring so they don’t dare tell the reason out loud. If they mutter anything non-woke, they are toast.
While I respect each and every person who signs up to protect and defend this country based upon their belief in this country I seriously question the narrative upon that those are asked to kay their life on the line for.

Bottom line...the military, especially the military when its used for war benefits the war machine regardless of who prevails. They’re the only ones that prevail regardless of who is deemed the “winner” because they don’t actually give a dam about those actually fighting. Its a win win for them.
I did my time in service to this country, and for the right reasons. Would I do the same today knowing what I know now especially for those running it? No freaking way!

It makes sense when you realize that the average intelligence of the military dropped by a corresponding amount.
In a short time the ‘US’ military will be a collection of woke corrupt blue hellholes.
Officers won’t be competent - they’ll be promoted based on sexual kinks and quantity of pigmentation.
Why would be want our kids involved in that? Careless officers means dead soldiers. Let the ‘elties’ send their kids.
