The Daily Mail confirmed with two sources that the identity of the other speaker on the recording was DeWit.

A transcript by the Daily Mail of the exchange is below:

"Just say, is there a number at which...." DeWit started.

Lake cut in: "I can be bought? That's what it's about."

"You can take a pause for a couple of years. You can go right back to what you're doing," DeWit said.

Lake repeatedly said she wouldn't do it for millions of dollars or a billion dollars.

"This is not about money, it's about our country," she said.

The Arizona GOP didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.

” You defend this? What kind of fraud are you? “

The kind that cheers on DeSantis and simps for Ukraine.

They are “conservatives” that are invested in continuing this corrupt system, and don’t want it exposed.

Total and complete truth !

And it is not specific to the USA, but true of every Western country.

Leftists dominate because the “conservative” opposition is fake and corrupt.

Yeah, it was a real eye opener watching a few come on here defending DeWit while using this news to attack Lake.

Wowza...

They are invested in the System.

Stories like this just destroy its last vestiges of Regime legitimacy, because it exposes it is not a partisan issue, but a UniParty issue.

Opus?

She was a news reader.

And when Ronald Reagan ran for Governor of California, he was a past president of the Screen Actors Guild.

"We need the former supporters of DeSantis and the other candidates.

"The “Eleventh Commandment” refers to the adage, “Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican.”

"This unwritten rule encourages party unity by discouraging public criticism among members of the same political party, particularly during primary elections."

"Reagan first talked about the “eleventh commandment” in 1966, when he was running to be governor of California."

From the "Political Dictionary.com."

Your right J, It is foolish to slash and gnash your own troops..

She’s a loser. Probably an unemployed loser. Trump, hopefully, stays a million miles away from her. He doesn’t need her baggage.

Nobody knows losers like you do I bet. Your daily exposure to one in your own mirror must be very valuable in ferreting them out.

Not for nuthin, the SAG had thousands of members and negotiated huge contracts, pensions, and health care. It’s not an insignificant job.

Kari Lake was a news reader in a top 20 market. That is an accomplishment in that field. But would you make her the CEO of GM? Or even one of their EVPs?

That is my point.

I know and understand she is “attractive” because she talks a good game. But as the VP for an 79 year old man…I think demonstrated “executive” skills would be a minimal qualification.

But that is an objective view. We are not doing a lot of that these days.

Justmythoughts -- Time to leave the global vanity found in Psalm 2 (attached to your name) for some quality time in Proverbs.

He who is slow to anger has great understanding
[and profits from self-control], But he who is quick-tempered
exposes and exalts his foolishness [for all to see].
(Prov.14:29)
(Amplified version)

Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense,
but a man of understanding remains silent.

(Proverbs.11:12)
(ESV)
Trump has made peace with the Florida governor. It's time for others to do the same.

Yeah, your Harvard lawyer is blaming the Iowa voters for his plucking. I use the KJV ... It IS not my fault you people are prone to deception. After all that is the first Warning Christ gave ... let no man deceive you.
