It appears Satan is alive and well in South Orange County.
At last week’s Board of Trustees meeting for the Capistrano Unified School District in San Juan Capistrano, the creation of an “After School Satan Club” at Truman Benedict Elementary School in San Clemente had some residents and parents hot and bothered, while others spoke in the best interest of the club.
The club, to be run by The Satanic Temple – an IRS-recognized organization based in Salem, Mass., according to The New York Times – is scheduled to hold its initial meeting at Truman Benedict on Feb. 12, according to a flyer being circulated at the school and on social media sites.

They probably have to allow this under the law. But its up to parents to keep their kids out of the club. They must allow the club to be there but no one is forced to join.
The whole school board and the principal should be fired.
And the children should be pulled out of that school and be homeschooled.
I would really like to see a picture of the members. Bets are on, unnatural hair color, undefinable gender, piercings, ugly tattoos and pot leaf t-shirts.

you are precisely correct.It *IS* the parents’ decision for their child to attend or not.
The *OTHER* parents shouldn’t give a red cent’s worth of vare or derision, but *SOME* will, just because “that club” comes onto schoolgrounds. *THOSE* parents forget that the school, as Neil Boortz used to say, “is a government school”, and not a private or parochial school.
If school districts would require after school clubs to have liability insurance maybe that would put a stop to these things.
After school Satanism? They get plenty of satanism during normal school hours.

Either religion is 100% fact or religion is 100% opinion. If opinion then satan club is fine. America has a foundation on the facts of the Christian religion, such as the Supreme Judge. Thus leaders approving satan clubs are anti education and anti American. Nuff said.
