LOL...we lived IN Chicago, the progeny went to Latin, and the city was still very nice when we moved back East. Now it is a disaster and VERY unsafe.

We were members of Brookfield Zoo; knew it VERY well!

Also the Lincoln Park Zoo.

And I still have friends there.

But dying the Chicago River Green always was and still is VILE! :-)

Visited Chicago once in December, freezing cold……I remember Lake Michigan was partly frozen…….but worth it to see the Field Museum
As a Floridian it was pretty memorable…….l could not get warm…….the plane for home kept de-icing forever
