President Biden said Friday that the United States will begin airdrops of humanitarian aid into Gaza amid negotiations for a temporary ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Biden confirmed the planned airdrops during an Oval Office meeting with the prime minister of Italy. The effort will provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza as watchdogs and aid agencies have warned of increasingly dire circumstances there as Israel carries out military operations throughout the enclave.
The airdrops are seen as a way for the U.S. to get aid into the area while officials continue efforts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas to allow for food, medicine, water and other supplies to get into Gaza, and for hostages to be released.

You misunderstand; the Egyptian Army is engaging in provocative tactics trying to get the Israelis to respond. Like constant firing of weapons, dropping flares, maneuvering tanks etc. All unnecessary to just make a showing.
They are for use in the immediate future, not the distant one. Egypt cannot afford idle military maneuvers without some direct purpose.

This is the leftists trying to 1) interfere in the Israelis’ ability to prosecute the war by putting our aircraft in the way, and 2) virtue signaling to the Muslim domestic enemies in America who have been lodging protest votes against the dems. Yes, I recognize all that. But they are building an enclosed area adjacent to Gaza. It could be a precaution in case of mass exodus or if the Rafah wall/border is breached. It could also be to prevent smuggling.
Future development, in Egypt, for the benefit of Gaza and Egypt could happen but that would indeed be down the road. As you mentioned, a lot of reconstruction will occur and Egypt could use this enclosed area as a staging ground for equipment and supplies. I do agree, getting it in from the Israel side will be much more complicated. So Egypt in the Sinai enabling a staging ground for post war Gaza supplies, with a second secured perimeter around it, makes sense.
I have seen some Raptor News videos in the past. Thanks for sharing that one. Egypt has to protect its own border. I do not think they want to engage in conflict with Israel. If they put 100 tanks on the border, well, they have seen what happened in their many previous conflicts. Their tanks are no match for a couple of bombers and now drones. They have a peace deal with Israel, they don’t want to break it. They are just there because it’s their territory. They may publicly state it’s to “stop Israel from invading” but I think they have plenty of other reasons to be there.
My sympathies lie with not seeing innocent civilians slaughtered. Your obvious sympathies lie with killing as many civilians as possible.
