Fifty-seven percent of Democrat voters would oppose Congress certifying the 2024 election if former President Donald Trump wins, a Rasmussen Reports poll found Monday.
The poll asked likely voters: “Some Democrats in Congress have said that if Trump wins this year’s election, they will vote against certifying the election results because of Trump’s role in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots. Do you support or oppose Democrats refusing to certify the election results if Trump wins?”
57 percent of Democrats would oppose certification. Nearly two-thirds of “liberals” said they would oppose certification. However, Democrats do not form the majority of voters’ opinions:
Overall, only 35 percent of all voters would support opposing certifying Trump’s victory. 55 percent would oppose lawmakers refusing to certify a Trump victory. The poll sampled 912 likely voters from March 5-7 with a 3 point margin of error.
In August 2023 a grand jury indicted Trump on four counts related to January 6. The counts include:

Here’s a thought.
If they refuse to certify the election, then whichever half of congress controlled by republicans will refuse to seat any democrats at all.
Then congress will be absolutely deadlocked permanently, with no funding for anything at all, including pay for federal employees or social welfare programs.
Nothing at all.
When the riots begin, it will be the fault of the democrats.

One only has to look at the DEMOCRAT AG’s and District Attorneys and Juries in Democrat jurisdictions to see that Democrats have no regards for our Constitutional Republic. I agree. When that happens, and national protests against the new POTUS are initiated and sponsored, the new POTUS must immediately invoke §1621. Declaration of national emergency by President; publication in Federal Register; effect on other laws; superseding legislation. Then the POTUS needs to declare Martial Law, or suspend Habeas Corpus. Those acts will suspend legislation and invoke military courts and tribunals.
This will be the only way to keep law and order when the Democrats throw a tantrum if the election rigging doesn’t work this time.
But wait, Pelosi and the democrats have insisted that certification is strictly a ceremonial act.

It looks like we will have to form another Jan 6th Commission. The year 2025 it will also be Jan. 6th. Quite fitting, another Commission loaded down with bigoted Republicans now to defy for 4 years the cry of Democrats to check the count again.

I think leadership on ALL SIDES is desperate. It’s like they know a meteor is headed right toward the earth and will strike in three years, but they want to be on top until then, so they say and do LITERALLY whatever they can to stay on top. That’s why we have the lunacy of an obviously mentally gone man as the president, and nobody with authority is doing anything to stop it.
It’s like we’re living in “the emperor’s new clothes”, the kid is calling it out, and the press has the people convinced it’s not true, that everything is fine.
I think people want to believe it because if everything is NOT fine, the truth is just to terrible to contemplate. And if all I had was my life in this world, I’d be absolutely terrified.

I believe I know how the prisoners would vote, Prisoners have standards even if they are not similar to the ones you hold. No self-respecting prisoner is going to be lining up at the barrel if they know that wrinkled behind is what’s in there.
