I haven’t watched in years, but my recollection of Billy Crystal is that he was an entertaining Oscars host who didn’t much get into politics.
After bashing President Trump, it is no wonder that they lost so many viewers. Of course we do not watch it and have not in decades.
Though I did enjoy the YouTube upload of those two Black actor-comedians duking it out and cussing at each other during the presentations a few years back.
