The judge cut her party purse strings. She can’t launder the state’s money into her bar tab.

Fani Willis can remain on Trump Georgia case if special prosecutor steps aside.

Absolutely not ok.

Seems he opener the door to ethics complaints, pressure to withdraw, but I can’t believe he didn’t boot her.

“This may turn out to be a good thing.”

I must say I haven’t seen a whole lot of “good things” as of late.

For those here with legal expertise, is this decision even appealable and is another court going to be interested in pursuing it more thoroughly?

It was a $150 donation. R or D, these sorts of back and forth campaign contributions like his go on all the time.

I like the fact that he has guaranteed a gobsmackingly stupid DA has to try the case.

Gw Solomoned the decision. This is not good for Trump as Wade is an incompetent. Whoever replaces him will be a stronger threat to make a case before a jury.

Shouldn’t she be disbarred?

Called this outcome a couple of weeks ago and will need to read the Order to see if it’s legally sound.

One or the other must step down.

One or both.

Not a shock. He thinks because he cut 6 charges he can let her slide. She and Wade may be facing RICO charges and lose their law licenses but hey no matter....

Makes no sense for Wade to be required to leave if nothing went on. If something went on requiring Wade’s departure, then Fani was part of it too.

This isn’t just cowardice. This is injustice.

The judge basically admitted that they were enriching themselves to get Trump and a fair, just prosecution was irrelevant.
