Vice President Harris should 'step aside' for good of the country, Washington Post columnist says

Vice President Harris should "step aside," Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker wrote on Friday, as she called the vice president's performance "disappointing," and warned she's become a "burden to the Democratic ticket."

While she said she was pulling for Harris to succeed, Parker argued her performance "has been disappointing."

"The Kamala conundrum comes down to this: She was picked because she was Black and female, a combo tantamount to job security. Now that she has become a burden to the Democratic ticket, Biden can’t fire her. He can’t risk alienating his base. Full stop. The seriousness of this situation can’t be overstated. Biden’s diminishing faculties, notwithstanding his relatively successful State of the Union address, and his increasing physical frailty are concerning," Parker wrote.

"Whatever the reasons, it has seemed that Harris’s role was to be quiet, lest she embarrass her boss with her sometimes inane, rambling remarks and a laugh that erupts from nowhere about nothing obvious to others," Parker wrote.

The headline to the column read, "For the country’s sake, Vice President Harris should step aside."

Parker argued that her perspective was not partisan as she also called for Sarah Palin to quit in 2008.

She’s maybe a step above Peggy Noonan in regards to her “conservative” philosophy, but that’s not saying much.

They’ve got her on the abortion trail now, having failed utterly as border czarina. Having proven that one can assume the second highest office in the country with a paucity of actual talent and her boss proving the same about the Presidency, why on earth would she be impelled to quit? Nobody, absolutely nobody at that political level with the possible exception of one Donald Trump decides anything “for the good of the country”. If they can’t convince her to step aside for the good of the party and if simple bribery - that is, step aside for the good of herself - fails, then the Dems are stuck with her.

They are preparing a replacement for Joe. How about Brandon resigning Compost? Since when was a liar, pedophile, plagiarizer, senile, demented, corrupt buffoon qualified to be president?

For the good of the country? If they were really concerned about the good of the country they would call for every democrat to step aside.

Things are never as they appear.

This would let Newsom be VP for a few months and he would step into Biden’s shoes when Biden exits around convention time.

“Kathleen Parker is NOT a conservative columnist.”

She sure isn’t a liberal!

The money quote is: “The Kamala conundrum comes down to this: She was picked because she was Black and female, a combo tantamount to job security. Now.” Even the leftist realize that their racial spoils system is unfair and evil.

Typically clueless analysis. She was also picked because she would not be seen as a successful immediate successor should her boss be found mentally incompetent (which was already evident). She was no threat to Slow Blow Joe.

She's just telling the other hyenas to back off.

I’m sorry to be such a contrarian, but the one thing I like about Harris is her laugh. She makes me laugh.

Harris has the trifecta. She is female, black, and Asian (Indian).

Harris was raised in Canada from the age of 12. There are some questions about the citizenship of her mother who may have become a Canadian citizen.

Tanned, rested and ready:

Hillary

Seriously though, until she's dead she's the bigger threat.

Every single Democrat in the Federal Government should step aside in order to save the country.

Then all Democrats in state governments. And county governments. And city governments.

They have destroyed enough.

And it’s also the very reason why she can’t be fired or even resign.

Well, she can always resign. She needs to spend more time with her family, you know.

I only disagree with the word ‘sometimes’.

So the libtards are less than pleased with their first American diversity-hired VP? I don’t understand. I was assured by those self same libtards that diversity and equity makes everything better!
