New Jerk sChitty.
At least they're cracking down on The Criminal Trump, who hasn't pushed anyone in front of a train in forever.
Bernie Madoff was only asked to post a 10 million dollar bond for actual fraud.

You don’t need cars. Use mass transit.

If I ever used any subway system I would wait with my back to the nearest wall.
Hanging out near the landing in order to be the first to board the train seems to be a dangerous choice these days.

It’s not mental illness that has played a role in these attacks. It’s chronic drug / alcohol addiction that damages peoples’ brains to the point where they are manifesting mental illness- like symptoms. I’ve worked with the homeless for 31 years. It’s a rare person who suffers from stand alone mental illness.

They use this as a blanket reason to absolve people of their actions and choices.

Your comment reminded me of a photoshopped pic that someone had produced and posted here when Rudy Giuliani was running against Hillary for U.S. Senator from New York. It showed Rudy pushing Hillary into an oncoming subway train. I wish I'd kept it.

"jail him for the rest of his pathetic, useless life."
Just shoot him and save the taxpayers some money.

It’s also irrelevant. If they can kill, they are dangerous. It does not matter to me why they are dangerous.

"Earlier in the day, Kemper and other NYPD brass announced the department would deploy 800 more cops into subway stations over the next five days to hunt down fare-beaters, claiming the move curbs more violent crimes."Verrrrry impressive solution.
not.
They're going to catch the fare beaters and then what? release them to catch them all over again?

A commuter was struck and killed by a Manhattan subway train Monday after being shoved onto the tracks by an emotionally disturbed person in an unprovoked attack, according to police and sources. When I'm feelin' kinda blue, I find going down to the subway and pushing some unsuspecting White person in front of an oncoming train somehow... soothing.
WTH? "Emotionally disturbed?!"

“involved a mental illness” “had a criminal history”
So, 80% of the people of New York City are probable future culprits.

Photo caption:
Adams: First I be scared of going to the border down there. Now I more scared of being in the subway. I’m getting agoraphobic. Like Sean Connery in Finding Forrester.
“The word agoraphobia is derived from Greek words literally meaning “fear of the marketplace.” The term is used to describe an irrational and often disabling fear of being out in public.
The person suffering from agoraphobia usually avoids the anxiety-provoking situation and may become totally housebound.”
