America’s monetary system, which supports leftist ideology with massive government debt and taxes, needs to collapse first.

Otherwise, there will be no change

I am shocked the Peoples Republic of Minnesota isn’t on this list. Last year our leftist majority Legislature toyed with a bill that would require all new lawn and garden equipment sold or distributed in Minnesota after Jan. 1, 2025, to be powered solely by electricity, In essence this would ban gas powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge clippers, chainsaws, lawn edgers, string trimmers, and brush cutters. Though gasoline powered Zamboni machines used to resurface the ice at hockey rinks were added to the proposed list of contraband equipment, even the leftists in the Legislature could not stomach extending a ban to include gasoline powered snow blowers. Perhaps the experience this past winter where EV charging stations became graveyards for frozen EV batteries, might have given the leftist loons pause as the typical Minnesota winters could easily freeze every EV in the state.

Thank you for referencing that article vespa300. Please note that the following critique is not directed at you but at our very corrupt, Constitution-ignoing Congress.

"8 states are planning to BAN the sale of gas-powered cars entirely - after Biden unveiled ambitious plans to phase them out by 2032 (usual suspects)"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

The problem with renegade states has never been the states themselves imo, but the worthless federal government that refuses to do its constitutionally enumerated duty to guarantee each state a republican form of government.

"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

This is why the tsunami of Democratic and Republican Trump supporters need to support hopeful Trump 47 with a new patriot Congress in November that will support Trump to not only finish draining the swamp, but will also support Trump to give each state a representative government.

The 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) need to disappear too.

I had Ego lawn equipment and couldn’t complain.

My yard isn’t a big one. In the burbs.

I sold or gave that stuff to relatives when I wound up hiring a lawn service because I was almost an invalid for a while a little over two years ago.

Great service, no complaints and fairly priced.

I contacted three of the big companies in my area. Only the guy who owns the service I use showed up.

I knew the dumber-than-dumb Maryland voters, when they voted for the black communist libtard Wes Moore for governor, would screw us all!

Well, Virginia Senate passed legislation that ties Virginia’s elimination of gas-powered cars to whatever California does (I know, weird) so you can add the state of Virginia to the list.

So someone who planned to make a fortune in California and then leave might want to scrap that plan?

Supposedly, Shohei Ohtani’s contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers enables him to leave CA and then get paid, avoiding CA taxes. CA may be able to change their tax code and bang him. The next guy will avoid CA altogether

“Customers will just go to another state to buy their cars...”

Which will then face a $20,000 import state tax. Maybe it hasn’t been passed yet, but they will NOT allow residents of California to buy cars in Arizona and drive them back to CA and register them. Not without a huge fine...I mean...tax!

A campaign slogan I saw suggested for Trump:

"If you like your car, you can keep your car!"

20K? Legalized theft. Gotta be another way around this madness. I am adamant that the government does not have the right to force you to buy anything. Electric this, electric that. Ultimately, it’s petroleum, coal, and natural gas that is the basis of our grid. Wood burning pizza joints are going to go under, eliminating the best pizza there is. Just a small example of how ludicrous the rabid eco-nuts are.
