Why Are So Many Pushing for America to Have a Hot War with Russia?

The mistakes of the Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars appear lost on many. Today, we hear stirring calls to arms against Russia from a totally corrupt and dangerous media supporting a rogue American regime. Unfortunately, several establishment Republicans stand in support. Senators Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham are at the forefront of the Republican establishment’s support for confronting Russia. I would include Senators John Cornyn and John Thune in the mix, along with House members like Dan Crenshaw and, certainly, former House member Liz Cheney.

Even if the United States were to win such a war on the battlefield, we would lose. At best, it would be a Pyrrhic victory.

###

In a war with Russia, American soldiers will be forced to fight with horrendous casualties. When this happens, Americans will relive the Vietnam War.

Also, as our Afghan withdrawal displayed, we have no Pentagon leadership. That leadership will also direct a war against Russia. Moreover, today’s woke military will not fare well against battle-hardened Russian troops. Many fighters have been forced out because of their Judeo-Christian values. Others are gone for refusing to surrender their right not to take an experimental vaccine that has unknown efficacy and side effects. Woke troops will not get the job done.

###

Moreover, a war with Russia would be worse than the Vietnam quagmire. People alive then remember that the war so badly damaged our nation’s society that all faith in government and the inherent belief in the moral fiber of our society was wiped out for almost 20 years. President Reagan restored it.

Russians aren’t our enemy, Communists are our enemy. They are here now. The US Deep State wants us to think Russia is our enemy. Why? I’m no expert, but I’ve been around a while and this seems obvious to me.
1: The Deep State needs an enemy in order to justify massive defense spending and usurpation of rights.
2: Russia used to be run by commies, so that threat lingers with Boomers.
3: Russians are white. It is better to have a white enemy to avoid cries of racism.
4: China is a much greater, if not actual threat. See 3
5: Russia is all over Ukraine, the global left’s money laundering headquarters.

Russia is run by a KGB boss. Still a Commie... Further, he’s already threatened to nuke us a couple of times... Even before he invaded Ukraine...

I’m ok with killing Commies here too... It’s going to come down to that one way or another...

If Washington enters into a war with Russia today, it won't be to defend liberty and democracy. Russia has elections, Ukraine doesn't. Ukraine is pushing the homofascist agenda and shutting down and seizing churches while Russia champions family values. Ukraine is heavily censoring and sharing in the western media propaganda campaign.

If Washington enters the fight more openly, it does so as the enemy of a free republic, and it needs to be treated as such. Russia was America's imperfect ally in WWII, and it can be again in WWIII - if America is willing to fight the elites in the capitol district who treat it with contempt.

I honestly could care less about Russia. They are completely irrelevant to my life and to the lives of nearly everyone on the planet. They can sit up there and drink their vodka and breed themselves out of existence for all I care.

However, once they started invading peaceful nearby countries with the intention of expanding their territory, they have earned my hatred for disrupting the peace of the world.

It is ridiculous that 1000’s of innocent people have to die so that Putin can feel better about his tiny penis by enlarging the map of what territory Russia controls.

You mean like we invade Iraq TWICE? The Russians have a far better to be in Ukraine than we did in EITHER Iraq war.

It's our meddling in Ukraine that lead to this war. We fomented an illegal coup, installed a puppet government that was hostile to both Russia and the ethnic Russian population in Ukraine. We trained and funded an 600,000 man Ukrainian army. Teased NATO membership for Ukraine. And, we were running biolabs deadly pathogens in them there.

If China or Russia had done something similar Mexico, we, justifiably, would have invade.

Enough of the lies and absurd narratives. It's neocon foreign policy that caused the war. WE WANTED THIS PROXY WAR.

What utterly moronic statement given how much the rest of the world depends on Russian natural resources.

I CARE ABOUT AMERICA FIRST and there is NO national interest in Ukraine, let alone one worth spending more than $150 billion and depleting our military resources on.

Pretty sure she could have single-handedly turned the tide of this conflict in Ukraine’s favor within hours.....

Please show us the quotes of those pushing for a hot war with Russia.

Yup

Straw Man Fallacy

A straw man fallacy occurs when someone distorts or exaggerates another person’s argument, and then attacks the distorted version of the argument instead of genuinely engaging.

we are a net exporter of oil and have enough coal for 1000 years here in America. There is nothing Russia has that we need or want.

Iraq was a state supporter of terrorism, they paid the families of suicide bombers money each time they did it. And after 9-11 90% of the American public supported wiping the terrorists out worldwide.

But as usual liberals got second thoughts afterwards and prevented us from finishing the job.

Sure, Russia "has elections" with all serious opponents of Putin arrested or killed, and amazingly Vlad has won every election in Russia the last 24 years.

there is NO national interest in Ukraine,

Destroying our enemies military without one US injury or death is a worthwhile goal and an important warning to China. US spent 5% of its military budget(Donating mostly older weapons) to destroy half of Russia’s military capability with the help of Ukraine.

Because the US Constitution would lose that war.

The Prog Left Marxists and NeoCons would be able to get rid of that Pesky Constitution!

War can be very profitable as long as its not in your nation—or if you have no nation and are a “citizen of the world.” But, in the case of a war with Russia it could turn into a world war fast. In a NATO/USA and Canada vs, Russia= we win. In a Nato/USA/Japan and Canada vs. Russia/China/Iran/North Korea/Syria/Venezuela/South Africa/Egypt/Serbia/Niger we lose.
Will China sit back and watch Russia be cut up known that if the west wins they will be next? What will India do? No, war isn’t the answer.
