And haven't we fought enough proxy wars against Russia already. They've been going on since the Korean War.

The only ones fighting a proxy war are those who think that by supporting Russia they are fighting a war against Soros and company. The rest of us just want to support Ukraine in fighting for its independence. Russia started this war and Russia can end this war by just going home. Ukraine is not going to attack Russia.

"The only ones fighting a proxy war are those who think that by supporting Russia"

I stopped reading right there, because you aren't bright enough to figure out, that despite those who are against the war, have never said they support Russia in any way whatsoever on this site. The words you use to label us are your own, based on your own bias, and on nothing that any of us have ever written here.

If those people who support the opportunity to get this country nuked by Russia over Ukraine, a country five thousand miles away the size of Texas, they are actually helping Putin if they truly believe he doesn’t plan to stop with Ukraine.

NATO and warmongers in the US government.

Why? Because Russia is completely opposed to globalism and its entire agenda.

Those saying Russia was unjustified in liberating the parts of Ukraine whose leaders begged Putin to save them from the tyranny and abuse of the Ukrainian government are in total ignorance.

“There would be NO war in Ukraine if we hadn't meddled in Ukraine, fomented an illegal coup”

Then the Russians would just start more wars and we woud have to get involved later when it might be more disadvantageous. May I remind everyone that Kazan is city in Russia. You may also consider the poster history and ask if he is really one of us.

***There would be NO war in Ukraine if we hadn’t meddled in Ukraine, fomented an illegal coup, installed a government hostile to the Russians and ethnic Russian population, trained and funded a 600,000 man Ukrainian army, set up biolabs in Ukraine with deadly pathogens in them and teased NATO membership for Ukraine.***

Recap for those who have become confused by Kremlin propaganda:

- Ukraine elected a supposedly pro-EU president (Viktor Yanukovych) who said he would move towards a closer trading relationship with the EU.
- But when it was time to start finalising/signing agreements with the EU the pro-EU president decided he was now pro-Russia instead so he wouldn’t be signing anything with the EU.
- The Ukrainian people got angry and peacefully protested.
- The now pro-Russian president had some of them shot.
- The Ukrainian people got a lot more angry and rioted.
- The now pro-Russian president fled from Kiev.
- The Ukrainian government fired the now openly pro-Russian president.
- The pro-Russian president then fled Ukraine and went to live in Russia.
- Russia then used the confusion to annex the Crimean peninsula using troops stationed there to protect the Black Sea Fleet plus unmarked troops “on holiday”.
- Russia sent unmarked troops “on holiday” to Donetsk and Luhansk, meeting up with local Russian immigrants and pro-Russian Ukrainian malcontents and starting a “separatist” movement.
- Once Ukraine got it’s act together the “separatists” started getting their asses kicked by the Ukrainian military.
- Russia sent tanks, artillery and anti-aircraft systems to back up their forces and proxies in the east, claiming all the time they were Ukrainians using their own equipment (this was completely debunked due to those forces using open radio communications and possessing Russian weapons systems never exported to Ukraine).
- Either Russian operatives or pro-Russian “separatists” accidentally shot down a commercial airliner, thus drawing massive international attention to the conflict and making Russia’s open support of their proxies and sympathisers in Donetsk/Luhansk untenable.
- The Minsk Agreements were negotiated in 2014/15 which called for a ceasefire, as Russia could no longer openly send the troops/weapons required to hold ground and Ukraine lacked the capabilities to defeat their forces outright.
- Then 8 years after the Crimea land grab, on the 24th of February 2022, Russia invaded the rest of the eastern half of Ukraine (with the aim of taking the whole country east of the Dnipro river) in a “3 day special military operation” that has now been dragging on for over 2 years.

***I care about this country’s survival, not some European craphole that can’t defend itself, and hasn’t bothered to even build up their own security. Why does this country always have to bail out those that will not protect themselves?***

That’s a very unfair characterization of Ukraine. Given that it was the US government who persuaded Ukraine (during the Obama Administration) to give Russia all its SRBMs and heavy bombers a few years before Russia first attacked them in 2014.

Not to mention encouraging them to give up all their nuclear weapons and ICBMs in exchange for some worthless security guarantees in the Budapest Memorandum of 1994:

“I feel a personal stake because I got them [Ukraine] to agree to give up their nuclear weapons. And none of them believe that Russia would have pulled this stunt if Ukraine still had their weapons,” - Bill Clinton

Russian TV talks daily as if they want the West to start a hot war with Russia. Putin denies it one minute, then does a “hmm, well...” the next.

Because its pundits think it’s plausible to attack a NATO country and not get an Article 5 response. They keep banging on about nuking London, Paris, Berlin. They literally wiped the island of Ireland completely off one map of Europe in one of their simulations, and the Republic of Ireland is neutral for crying out loud.

You’ve got to love the Vranyo gobblers; their idea of the West wanting a war with Russia is, someone said something like “if Russia tries it, they’ll get a nasty surprise”, but Russia talking daily about capturing the Baltic countries, having a hot war with Poland, and nuking Western capital cities? “Nah, they don’t really mean it.”

I’m 3d printing genuine reproductions of Tower Bridge to sell to the useful idiots right now.

That wasn't my government. I didn't vote for Clinton or Obama. And it's not my problem that Ukraine was dumb enough to listen to Bill Clinton, and then Obama. Antony Blinken's father oversaw the Budapest Memorandum. And now they're dealing with his shitful son. How much was Ukraine paid monetarily by the U.S. to do that? You know they got something. Knowing Bill, he got something from it too. Maybe Biden did as well, seeing that he was in charge of Ukraine when he was V.P. Even the Soviet Union was stupid when they agreed to a non-aggression pact with Hitler in 1939. Anyone with half-a-brain knew Hitler couldn't be trusted to keep any agreement. And Russia paid in the end for being so naive. Now, so too is Ukraine, but that Europe's problem, not ours, and certainly not worth going to actual war with Russia over. America today should not pay for the sins of the likes of Clinton and Obama.
