KYIV: Ukraine could run out of air defense missiles if Russia keeps up its intense long-range bombing campaign, President Volodymyr Zelensky warned in remarks aired on Saturday. The Ukrainian leader’s starkest warning to date of the deteriorating situation faced by his country’s air defenses follows weeks of Russian strikes on the energy system, towns and cities using a broad arsenal of missiles and drones. “If they keep hitting (Ukraine) every day the way they have for the last month, we might run out of missiles, and the partners know it,” he said in an interview that aired on Ukrainian television.

One of the problems with his efforts to get more weapons is he is saying he doesn’t want the war to wage in 2030 and he is claiming Russia will push further into Europe. In his situation right now he is losing his supply lines as they are not seeing any real success or an end game with the war and they are slowly cutting his cord.
This was a war Zelinsky never should have waged as he can’t win, in my opinion, without NATO countries putting their troops on the ground thus expanding the war. He should have used a lot more diplomacy to reach some sort of deal with Russia to save his people by bartering his resources and trade capacities. These are what Putin wants anyway so cutting a deal might have saved a lot of the reported 31K Ukrainians killed.
Now he’s backed himself into a corner and is gambling Putin will give up from pressure at home. But NATO is soliciting the Ukraine to stand down by refusing membership not wanting to get into a Russian conflict with nuclear weapons at Putin’s disposal. (Whether the threat exists or not) Zelinsky has opened up Pandora’s Box and he won’t take the effort to shut it. He’s a self centered, arrogant, narcissists that just won’t do the right thing.

This is correct, the area's natural resources and products are the economic goldmine coveted by Western Oligarchs and Russians.
To be clear, considerable amounts of these resources are Russian, NOT Ukrainian, or produced by Ethnic Russians, and Ukraine was involved in the theft of them in transit and commerce.
Zelensky had the option to quit stealing from the Russians, however that would put him in extreme peril from his Globalist Masters.

My goodness, a voice from the darkness. You must be the topic of discussion when you say that as I have been trying to preach that since this thing started right after my retirment really got started in 2013. But the public is so short minded that they think this rah rah attitude is just about the nasty Russians and those poor Ukrainians. It’s about commerce and security, not frame of mind.
Tack that on to the foreign influence of the countries like the US that have labs and black sites in the Ukraine that Russia will want out, and it blows the whole cover of the goody two shoes US and NATO. And that’s almost as bad to our government as to admitting Santa or the Easter Bunny doesn’t really exist. And this is why both sides are hiding behind the rah rah. We would be caught with our hands in the cookie jar and those that put the labs/sites in are no less guilty than the ones who know and are trying to protect them as we speak. Everybody gets dirt thrown on them. (And in the case of the liberals, re-elected)

Yes, and military conflicts are usually about Commerce (Economics) and security.
Also you are correct that the real reason is well concealed from the public by the publicity effort.
