Democrat Arizona AG Says She Will Not Enforce 1864 Law Banning Most Abortions

Arizona’s Democrat Attorney General says she will not enforce an 1864 law that was upheld by the state Supreme Court on Tuesday banning nearly all abortions.

“The decision made by the Arizona Supreme Court today is unconscionable and an affront to freedom. Make no mistake, by effectively striking down a law passed this century and replacing it with one from 160 years ago, the Court has risked the health and lives of Arizonans,” Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (pictured above) said in a statement. “The Arizona Court of Appeals decision, which the Supreme Court has struck down [on Tuesday], was well reasoned and aligned with how courts harmonize different legislation.”

If the law was in the Constitution, I’d agree but this AG is simply being an insurrectionist. I wonder if she is enforcing Unconstitutional gun laws?

I’m this precedent for Ertogan citing a 1920’s law applied to Trump?

Are we also allowed now to select certain laws to obey?

You see how simple it is? You just don’t enforce laws you don’t agree with. Law says abortion is illegal? Ignore it. People pass a law saying marriage is only between a man and a woman (whatever that is); ignore it. Law says people wishing to enter the United States have to follow certain procedures; ignore it.

So we are at the place where the rats ignore the laws they disagree with all the way up to a President ignoring the SC.

“”Are we also allowed now to select certain laws to obey?””

Nope - just elected officials who have taken an oath and do not have any problem with breaking that oath. AZ needs to run her out of the state...

then she is breaking her oath of office.

It is not up to law enforcement to decide what should be the law only to enforce the law.

I don’t agree with the law either, but would enforce it if I were elected to do so.

Seems the purpose of government these days is to not enforce the law.

Seems the purpose of government these days is to not enforce the law.

And it seems like the purpose of the judiciary thee days is to write laws. So why do we need a legislature?

"Democrat Arizona AG Says She Will Not Enforce 1864 Law Banning Most Abortions"

..... Well Skippy ..... That would be called "Dereliction of Duty" .... Too bad Republicans are such feckless, weak kneed, insipid, jelly spined, panzies. Otherwise something could actually be done about this.

Yes, but only if one is a demonRAT.

Joe: “It’s a sunny day out. Now you go on and get out of here. Merrick is giving you a clean record. Go get some ice cream or something.”

She should be impeached for not upholding her oath of office.

Removed from office?

She “won” by 280 votes out of millions in an election that is still in the courts.

Any elected official in Arizona can be recalled. It’s in the State Constitution.

What have the Republican’ts in Arizona done about her? Nothing. The twisted Lesbian trash is on a campaign to arrest all of them but they can’t be bothered to get a petition going to get rid of her deviant ass.

When I am the AG of a state, I guess I will have to mull over all sorts of crimes that can go unenforced against liberals.

Murder, theft, rape—these are all just legal constructs waiting to be officially ignored.
