There won’t be a hot war involving the US in the ME. Iran is not going to attack Israel directly and overtly. This has to do with domestic politics and creating the image of Biden as a wartime President. It has to do with stampeding the reauthorization of FISA without any significant reforms. We are being played.

There’s a difference as some of us dont like undeclared wars/conflicts when lives are at stake the US constitution is clear on this the elected Reps have a say.

And I think you are right. Biden or Trump will not be on the ballot because there won’t even be an election, it will be suspended. This is all pointing towards a declaration of martial law before November.

Rumor has it that Israel has a EMP pulse weapon that will shut Iran down. I am not sure I believe it, but they could shut down Iran (including their nuclear capability) without casualties. I have heard it is being considered as a doomsday alternative.

Even if by some miracle Trump gets elected, which due to changing demographics I believe largely will never happen, he will likely be inpeached again by an even more hostile congress than ever before and/or his adminstration will be endlessly hamstrung by an endless tsunami of lawsuits, legal injunctions, probes, investigations, etc.
There is no voting our way out of this mess. There are no more political solutions.

I believe much of this is due to more and more people not being to be able to discern.
Why can’t they? Probably due to ignorance or willful ignorance or frankly a lack of intellect.
What’s the explanation more and more when a politician does not do what posters expect? The politician is being blackmailed. It’s the laziest of explanations because it takes no evidence or thought to make that claim.
An example is Speaker Johnson regarding FISA section reauthorization. I asked this question before on a different thread and got crickets - essentially “What made ANYONE think Johnson would vote other than what he did?”.
Nothing but ignorant silence after multiple posts in multiple threads that Johnson was on the take or being blackmailed.
Johnson has always been a law and order guy, and is very much pro military / pro intelligence services supporter regarding protection against attacks on/in the US. His previous votes bear that out. It should not have been a shock to people. But it was.
Modern democracy,which must be preserved at all costs, forbids discussion and does not require consensus.
If Bye-dumb declares martial law, the deep state will enforce it. If Trump declared martial law, the deep state would ignore it and would actively remove Trump as a tyrant.
