Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that abortion “is on the ballot in all 50 states’ because of a potential national abortion ban.
Host Kristen Welker said, “Former President Trump held a rally last night. He did not mention the issue of abortion, but earlier this week he noted that abortion laws are left up to the states. he said he wouldn’t support a national ban. How concerned are you that his efforts to straddle the line could effectively weaken this issue for Democrats?”

Remember all those years when democrats said if Roe went down abortion would be illegal all over the country?
Well, how many years ago was that? Roe decided who had the final say on abortion - the courts or the people. The people won. So it’s up to the States. I’m guessing every blue state will allow abortion up to the point of birth.
It’s not a federal issue.
That said, democrats know how to lie to their base - it’s why they do all those focus groups. But lie as they will about abortion, they’ll never have that power about the border... too much water under the bridge.
You’d think Michigan would have learned their lesson with commie women after Granholm’s disastrous 2 terms.

Whitmer has the Game Plan for any States that allow Pro-Abortion on the Ballot. Most States outlawed Abortion in very strict terms. Michigan’s law dated back to the 1930s. Liberal Democrat Governors like Jennifer Granholm never tried to get a new law, just rode the Roe v Wade wave.
In 2020, magically the most blatantly unConstitutional Amendment for “Reproductive Freedom” was on the Ballot. It included everything you can imagine on Abortion unquestioned at any stage, and so much more, as the woman’s decision is final, no age limits, for Abortion, Genital mutilation, IVF, surrogacy, baby buying/selling.
Women came out in droves to vote. Btw, while they were at it, they voted for FJB, too. Enough to give him a legit victory is doubtful, but nothing will ever be done to investigate.
Give the Democrats their due. The only string they have to play is baby killing. They stick to the issue, and do not deviate from the theme. This country is sufficiently degraded to the point that the sort of law that prevailed before 1960 in every state, when abortion was illegal except to preserve the life of the mother is unacceptable to a majority of the public.
Killing babies is all they have.

Abortion has been on the ballot every single election. If there’s a Republican candidate running, according to the RATS, abortion is their mantra.
Whitmer is speaking symbolically to say that how you vote—Democrat or Republican—directly affects abortion laws. She has only to point to putzes like Linda Graham and Judas Pence calling for nationwide bans to prove her point.
why they ever allowed women to vote, nothing but trouble ever since. Take away every female politician, doctor, lawyer etc, and the United States would get along just fine. Cant tell their pea brains that. All so annoying..
